Hearing our feedback is one thing, but did they actually listen?
There should be, because Fife Circle is set after the 385s came into service.
Thing is, if the Chase Line comes with the 350, then it can layer onto a potential WCML. Otherwise the WCML would be empty with Pendolinos and no...
Looks good.
Translation: Could you please add Turkish language?
The more I see it, the better the Forth Bridge looks.
Yes please. For the Class 185 alone.
Even so, 300 miles is quite long anyway. Doubt many would want to do a Penzance to London run often.
Confirmed they do not have it as per DTG Liam in a thread about the WSR.
Could the 387 be a layer on the ECML? Although that make me wonder why it would have Gatwick Express branding.
I think they're changing the model so yes to the first question.
What if, and I'm not trying to argue or prove anything, this is pure speculation just to be clear, what if the C2C logo was left out on purpose,...
Let's just wait and see, shall we.
Still a lot of money.
The ECML one.
Can't speak for anyone else, but a train journey is a better experience than flying, even over large distances.
They've nailed the bridge.
But it's happened 3 times now. Sorry not sorry, their excuses are simply not good enough. It's something they should have done from the start....
I hope not in real life. That'd be one hefty fine to pay.
Your point is invalid. We already have some trains that have them (3 to be exact, and all from third parties) and some that don't.
Could be another section of the ECML, that would make it a new route rather than an extension of the previous one.
With all due respect, I asked the question to DTG, not you. f I wanted a self-appointed spokesperson to answer I would said so. Also, Rivet...
Another one from me. What's going on with announcements? At the moment, they have been included on two of Rivet's routes. Why haven't DTG done...
That would be it's own route, not an extension. Realistically speaking.
Is this thread just going to be people going back and forth on the 170 sounds? If that's all we're doing, I think it's best it stops as it is...
Is there a way to stop watching threads you've created? If so, that's what you need to do if you don't want to see more replies to this thread.
I realise that, it's all about how the tools are used.
They were when I posted that as I only had a quick look at the preview. Now I've had a proper look, however, I realise they arent.
A backdated North Wales Coastal (if I'm correct in that this route goes to Holyhead) would be a good start, with the Breakwater and Class 01 being...
That depends. Is Glossop a new route with a new train, or a new route with a reskinned train? If the former (for those who don't own BCC), then yes.
So, clearly you didn't read his post:
Just going to say this: looks can be deceiving.
Each route is its own universe. Even if they weren't, then there's the problem of time periods: two routes may share the same start point, going...
All down to practice I'm afraid. There's no "one size fits all" approach to braking, it depends on speed limits, braking distance, weight of train...
I'm not a DTG person, I know, but that's what Off the Rails in Scenario Planner is for. Very much doubt they'll add the same functionality to free...
Tag an admin and ask for it to be locked.
That's a poor excuse. Its not like they haven't had any practice with using a newer engine, which they've been doing for 7 years. These excuses...
The team who did scenery would be separate to the one doing collectibles. They don't have one team doing everything, I don't think they would anyway.
I suppose it is a good starting point, something they could work off. But we all know what DTG are like.
All I take from that is that they prefer to make modern routes, despite people wanting the opposite. Why I wonder? Surely, listening to these...
So, should we start requesting routes from older periods more then? Might stop DTG going down the modern, one handle train track they seem to be...
Don't know about anyone else, but I'd be more than happy if they focused more on Steam, it piques my interest more. Only reason I don't really...
What did/do you drive?
At least there's two positives about the Goblin: A) The 710 is similar to the 720 so that opens up potential East Anglia routes that use it. B)...
Self contained routes attract me more, simply because they are more complete given the limited scope they have.
If you want another heritage route, best thing to do would be to make a suggestion for one in the suggestions forum.
45 minutes is a decent run time. About all I can spend nowadays.
I notice they specifically mention the Elizabeth Line when talking about the different Aventra variants. A hint?
Don't forget Eurostar.
