Shouldn't, but are. Quite annoying, really.
That's good to hear. I'll try uninstalling Midland Main Line and see if that works.
Isn't the fact the design existed hurting enough? That and I now cannot unsee it.
In SEHS in TSW3, the game crashed whenever I drove a train through Stratford International, rendering all the Javelin and TGV services...
At least that's your only problem. My game crashed a few minutes after I started a service.
Happens for Xbox too. Took forever.
All of them?
I was wondering why ever signal I came across was a double yellow followed by green.
That would be a great idea. I'm always looking to see which DLCs complement each other.
You do realise you're only feeding him by replying, right?
I was just wondering that as I fired the game up today (finally). I was stopped at a station in front of a signal and couldn't see it clearly.
Then don't, you'd only be proving his point.
He did say "no other game I own" ;)
Nothing stopping you from recreating the route from scratch. Although that would probably take forever. Boo :(
You don't need to own the latest TSW to enjoy old routes, you'll just miss out on any future updates.
A scenario would be better. I've only seen it happen once (they mostly use a 9-car 800), but it's still a possibility. It'd also give the 801...
Maybe, but it does have a unique look to it.
Looks like it's had its face smashed in.
Something I'd like to add. The 801s are mentioned as layers for the Selby/Doncaster end. They could also go to Hull, albeit only the 5-cars and...
Don't forget the station at Arram (between Beverley and Hutton Cranswick). An interesting one as not many services stop there.
You know, the whole purpose of SEHS was to showcase the Javelin and HS1. There is more to do than time available in a day. I'd say it is complete...
Sounds like he needs to have a go at using the editor and seeing how long it takes him?
About the music... TSW is a simulator. I would imagine most players would be staying as true to life as possible. In reality, if music was...
It's also pointless. It travels a distance of 0.8 miles in a matter of 2 minutes, and definitely deserves to be on this list.
I find it annoying and I haven't even played the game yet. I play this game to drive trains, not listen to music.
Can we just accept some people actually like the direction TSw is taking, and that not everyone is happy with it?
I know you said don't look at the plane, but I like the way it looks. What happened there?
People are just disappointed they didn't get a small 30-mile stretch up to York, or down to London (I agree with the York bit though).
Well, I've finally got around to installing the game. I'm just hoping it fixes the issues I had with TSW3. Hoping, but not overly optimistic.
Just going to put these here: [ATTACH] [ATTACH]
Only 8? Why not more, more, more? :D
SEHS was extended, and had to be rebuilt.
Not being negative, just realistic. To extend the route, it would have to be rebuilt from scratch. Realistically, that isn't likely to happen.
They're under the impression it'll make the game "better", despite being told otherwise. If it did happen, they would all complain that their...
Good to hear. I started to worry that signals had developed minds of their own :D
What's a signalling strike? Never heard that one before.
I'm just approaching it with a bag of salt.
G When someone says no plans, I take it as they won't, and that is the presumption.
DTG have already said they won't do extensions. Grand Central won't feature in the game either as Arriva (who runs the service) won't give out...
It would also be a boring drive.
Just run them over. Free food. :D
What is the purpose of this? I'm confused.
From what I've heard from others on here, everything would need to be rebuilt from scratch.
Even if you are right, if TSW5 comes out next year on UE5, all legacy content will go in the bin.
It releases at different times for each timezone and the platform you're playing on.
After three tender engines, there definitely needs to be a tank engine, maybe a good idea for another steam route.
The points thing is useless anyway unless you're playing multiplayer.
Just going to say that Bedford to Brighton (the full route) won't come anytime soon. I'll also rule out any routes from the existing BML route.
I agree, but at least if there was another HST variant People wouldn't be complaining about electrostars.
I enjoy the game and driving the trains. The only train sim I have come across that meets my desires, despite the bugs I come across.
