Mastery seems to be independent from game edition. I did play some TSW4 several months ago, and it counted towards mastery progress.
Do you plan on pre ordering with early access? So you have more than one day (or rather: six hours) to complete it? ;-)
MAC has a few conductor services on the Pendolino that don't take long and usually work. Just save near the end and repeat.
So, another grind for conductor mode... The other things are pretty much straightforward and require no extra effort, so that's nice :-)
