Dtg don't have a licence with Gwr anymore, they can still sell Gwe but they can't make any new Gwr content unfortunately.
I think Manchester - Crewe would also be a good idea, route length seems reasonable, we could have the highly requested AWC class 390 as the new...
I seasonal railtour service with the br103 would be nice, same goes for the new Koln - Aachen timetable.
'Tsw will lose it's biggest fans' says who exactly? 'We want multiplayer' many here will disagree with you on that. 'Modding system on all...
I understand, the 321's would be a great addition to Tsw although I think it was the class 322 variant the Northern used, please correct me if I'm...
As the route is seemingly in a ultra modern day setting, a class 331 would be more appropriate.
Class 185's will replace them on Scarborough services and the class 802 fleet will be better utilised to take over whatever is left.
Lol I get it. It really is a shame though, the Mk5's (not counting the sleeper one's) have only been in service for 4 years, it just feels like...
I think Jasper gave a hint over on the Rivet forums a few weeks back, something about the Jacobite (Fort William - Mallaig) with a new steam loco.
Apparently the Mk5's have developed structural issues that are uneconomical to repair, so unless someone else can find an economical way to fix...
Probably not relevant to this thread but since we're (sort of) on the subject of class 68's, it's just been announced by TPE that from December,...
Tehachapi Pass.
68's only started in 2014
I'm gonna be honest here, I really don't think we're getting Marias Pass any time soon, I absolutely believe that one of the two new USA routes on...
Very true, CC is full of them. In all fairnes though, if we are getting another 'new loco bundle' I'd rather we got something like the New...
Maybe we're getting the Ews 66 again because Dtg don't a Gbrf license yet?
Well said, 100% agree with this.
Absolutely No.
I ain't taking nothing personally, your the one who said 'some customers don't care and others like yourself ain't so naive '
Being supportive of a product that brings us enjoyment doesn't make us naive.
Peterborough does have the Emt class 158 and the Thameslink class 700. I can see your point with Doncaster though but that could be partially...
As great as it would've been to have York included with Ecml, I'm kinda glad it isn't for 1 specific reason: Ai layers As of yet we have no Dmu's...
Isn't Cathcart Circle set in 2014? If so then it would be unrealistic to have the 385 layer onto anything at Glasgow Central as they didn't even...
Add some Coffee and we could get a new route every single day!
Would you consider doing something from the Network South East era? I'll admit I'm more of a modern day fan myself but I just love the Nse colour...
For the Ecml I think the New Measurement Train HST would be a much better option instead of another class 66, fully agree with your other...
Wait, so you mean to tell us that they (Dtg) made 3 brand new routes (each with a new train) + 2 loco addons, scenario planner 2.0, livery...
I was just about to suggest the New Measurement Train HST lol. But yeah that would be a good idea for a gameplay pack.
Crosscountry is on that list too but Dtg did (more recently) confirm that they do not have a licence agreement with them. Maybe it's just a list...
Hull Trains could be a problem because it seems that First are being very tricky with there license.
Rivet are making a gameplay expansion pack which will be releasing within the next 3 months but we don't know what it is yet.
Emergency situations such as an OHLE failure or small depot moves.
The 800 is a bi-mode unit that can operate on both diesel and electric power, the 801 is almost purely electric.
Speculation on my part here, I'm guessing the new loco from the new (unnamed) third party is the class 104 for PFR.
Deluxe edition for me, really want Scotsman.
It's been answered by Dtg Matt in another thread somewhere that they're preference was to do a 800 but Lner would only provide them with an 801 to...
Flying Scotsman coming with Mk2's is actually very realistic for the modern day railtour setting that they're going for. As for all the...
Almost electric only, the 801's do have one diesel engine on board but is only really used in emergency situations such as an ohle failure.
I'm happy we have Metrolink now too, just need Coaster now and The Pacific Surfliner route becomes a real possibility.
Unfortunately the Gwr license expired and Dtg have as yet been unable to renew it, there still allowed to sell Gwe but they can't make/sell any...
I never said anything about name calling or bullying though, I was referring to those who (from where I'm standing at least) seem to just want to...
Compering Tsw with abusive relationships is anything but civil.
Think what you like, I ain't tarring anyone, but there is a distinct difference between constructive criticism and whinging. Good day sir.
I have a feeling this thread is gonna get locked soon, and with 'the let's bash dtg brigade' now making completely inappropriate comparisons...
Sad but true.
Very well said, compering Tsw to an abusive relationship is both disgusting and insulting to those that have actually been in an abusive...
That's only if you plan to buy it separately, if you buy it as part of the deluxe edition you will get it day one.
I completely agree, the toxicity on this forum is so unbelievably high and while Tsw isn't perfect by any stretch of the imagination, it certainly...
Just to be clear, we are not apologists, we just actually enjoy playing Tsw.
Northern 323's operate services from Manchester to Liverpool and Crewe (there may be a few other locations but I'm not sure). The new trains on...
