I mean how many times are we going to be shown a 'dev' version before it is understood that it's the release build, just with dev tools enabled....
DTG have already said that Third Parties are required to provide support for consoles, where the developer is not capable of a console port DTG...
I think in this case we've had clarification on what to expect, namely the 395 sounds being resolved. The biggest issue is that these previews...
If you look back through the roadmap you can see a list of fixes for routes, fixes tend to take a while to come to fruition (if at all) While It...
Well that was why I pointed out that the comparison was extreme.
There’s already a thread on this in the PC forum, best to keep the discussion there so that there is one central source of feedback to look through.
While the comparisons are abit extreme, the point still kind of makes sense, it is unreasonable to expect DTG to fix every bug straight away, but...
As someone who used to play on a PS4, and even Xbox for a time, I can see it being plausible that 2 locos would have an effect, however...
I think it has a lot more to do with pressure coming down from higher up, although there is definitely some inconsistency between types of...
[removed by Protagonist - this isn't helping maintain civility]
I get that, however in the UK this line cuts the journey time down to around 20 mins from over an hour between Gravesend & London. In terms of...
Perhaps, like I say it does also have an entertainment factor, especially for fun streams such as Bakerloo challenges and such, it's just not...
From a purely gameplay prospective, yes I did, I enjoyed doing a service from an airport into a city terminus and then the run out to New...
Unfortunately his demeanour comes from his YT channel persona (or at least I used to think it was just a persona), and whilst entertaining there,...
Why are you so offended by negative feedback? We all clearly want the DLC, we just want it to be right. The irony in your telling people not to...
I agree that release date coming first is the common rule, my point was more that they are starting cut it too close with the development time...
At least PIS is there to let you know how long your wait will be!
It's a shame because there are some pretty major flaws with scenery, however Sam has already told us that there won't be any changes to expect,...
The thread has everything from negatives to positives, pros and cons lists, discussion regarding the importance of such things and even a...
Apparently we must congratulate DTG on getting stuff right, i'd be happy to talk about the good stuff, once the more pressing bad stuff has been...
Plus on PC there is a plethora of both payware and freeware mods to make it even better, something that TSW does not yet support. So DTG should...
Personally I think it’s the opposite, things like ballast, route details and missing areas that weren’t as much as an issue in TSXX, are being...
I’d like to address the users who have decided to call this thread toxic, and exclaim that people are dancing around a fire. 1). There have been...
Doesn't make a cab silent.
When you factor in everything else the most likely scenario is that the development of the route was rushed, it certainly feels that way. Why so...
it's missing, the up staff halt is just a portakabin, and the down halt is just not there.
Yes and that's great, it shows that there are people at DTG who go that extra mile with things, and we all love a good easter egg, however the...
I'm not aware of how the Gillingham crossing works, just that there are crossings that can be down for a while, but Matt did forget to open the...
A stopped train and a moving train would obviously take different times to close the distance, and not all signals would be the same distance from...
This did come up in one of pre release steams for the LGV, Sam basically said if the route does well that they would look to do more French routes...
I don't think any of the issues here will be addressed, unfortunately it's the DTG way, we'll be told that they hear us and that will be the end...
Personally I stayed away from LGV, I’m not familiar with the route in real life and while I would of liked a TGV, that route did not look good, I...
Because UK routes are probably more popular than French routes, especially if you consider that there’s only one French route that people may not...
I think the issue is a little more than "one missing fence", if you do not know the route IRL, or care about the quality, that is fine, however...
In the UK this is a modern High Speed line, known as High Speed 1, we have the section that goes upto Ebbsfleet, in reality HS1 carries on down to...
This is what irritates me quite a lot, there were a few things they gave that explanation for in the stream, such as Hoo yard, the 2 ES platforms...
This is it. I haven’t seen one person here asking for something that’s extremely pedantic. The track ballast IS wrong, it’s an asset that can be...
Their “layers will come later” is very quickly deteriorating into “sorry it turns out we can’t do it”. Good luck fighting PSN or Microsoft for a...
It’s missing, you can see the texture blur and the ground at the bottom of that missing chunk.
This is the big picture issue, TSW was sold as the next leap forward in train simulation, TSW 2 was supposed to be the next leap from that, yet...
Yes but HMA as a base route without layers still totals far more than SEHS, even with just S-Bahn, and considering that TSW uses a tile system,...
I doubt that fences are effecting FPS to the extent that they aren’t there, HMA has 3000 signals, and even with the minimal ICE and S Bahn that...
Unfortunately on console it’s a case of just being glad that a simulator exists. But anyone who has played this route on TSXX or travelled this...
Those images are very damning, yet DTG, and an alarming amount of other people think fences have little effect on a route. You couldn’t blame...
Exactly, the depot runs provide an otherwise rare occurrence of extra interactivity with trains, which is one of the advantages of TSW over TSXX,...
And they’re worth it IMO, something as simple as taking a train out of service is quite satisfying.
I don’t expect to hear the motors, but I do expect to hear that distinctive electrical hum, and exterior track noise and ambiance, it absolutely...
Maybe it's because we know better then to take that as a "the 395 sounds will be improved" as opposed to them just acknowledging the fact, just...
No train cab is silent. The motors being further back has little effect on the noise in a cab, since most modern cabs are noise insulated anyway....
You’re putting words into my mouth now, and derailing the topic into other unnecessary areas, feel free to carry on, but I won’t be participating.
