Thanks, I know all that and it works fine with other UK trains. But the 700 is all computerized and "smart."
Unfortunately, X and S run the same software (that's a Microsoft thing, not a DTG thing).
AFAIK, the only Informal rule" (but good practice) is that you should pass a double-yellow Approach signal doing or immediately slowing to no more...
That isn't going to happen. They aren't going to model Philly 30th Street for a free patch, and there's no point doing it without SEPTA trains,...
ALL our progress has been wiped out.
No, just a cheap one.
Maybe just the ones relevant to Pennsylvania: PRR, NYC, Conrail, Reading, Lehigh, Delaware-Lackawanna, Erie.
So why impose this stripped down ****** on PC and Gen 9 users? Up to this point, reduced timetables were just something Gen 8 players had to live...
OK, that one confuses me. Whenever you hit the GSMR on/off button - no matter its previous state - you get "Confirm deregistration?" And when you...
DTG can also consider how much time and headaches they could save themselves by dropping PS4 and XBox One. That's two out of seven platforms they...
Better yet, this unasked for "patch" screws even the people who didn't buy the 700!
Or gets its timetable reduced by 80%
But for the Real Timetable we now have to start over from zero, because all progress has been scrubbed.
Journey mode is now all on the Andersonville timetable. You and I still get credit there... for whatever little it's worth.(Interestingly, I...
Even if you only drive one service, the hollowed-out timetable means less AI and static traffic, and an unsat experience.
Surely one of DTG's tech boffins can check a box and give us back the progress we already had in the real timetable.
For what conceivable reason?
I completely fail to see the relevance.
I can't even count them. Just to start, all the services that made up the ENTIRE ****** JOURNEY, including the RHTT and ROG. All gone now. Plus...
What really ****** me off is that someone in a much higher paygrade than Alex decided to inflict this Diet Timetable on everybody, not just those...
Which is worthless to anyone who doesn't care about the Timetable Lite, only the real one. This SUCKS! DTG, give us back our progress in BOTH...
Is the GSMR working properly? It seems bugged.
All you running the 700 and changing cabs between services: what am I doing wrong? When I change cabs, I get a (uncancelable) Train Stop Override...
I know that other players have successfully changed ends in the 700. What are they doing that I'm not?
I can't get it to shut down at all. It just resets.
OK, but then that raises another question- whenever you push the GSMR on/off button (whatever its status) you always get the same response...
There's another one at München Hbf, which you'll encounter if you do a train wash service. Wach auf! it's hiding in the shadow of a bridge.
This was a bug on release which was then patched, producing a decent spray effect; but then TSW3 broke it again.
Yup, it appeared and downloaded about 15 min after I posted that.
Completed an ECS move to Dartford to begin the day. Changed ends, set up the cab, waited for service start- but when it was time to go, brakes...
That's odd- my last SEHS update was June 29
The 31 is fun to drive- but those brakes! You'd slow down faster dragging a foot on the ground.
Incidentally, thanks to this convo I've added "TB 5" markings to my Silberling in progress. Thinking in terms of Niddertalbahn (1992), an n-Wagen...
[IMG] Clinchfield RR, EMD F7A and B
The ICEs that run Köln-Aachen continue on to Brussels, so DB puts 406s on that route. (They only bought 20 of them to handle international...
All right, OK. Point taken. Nonetheless, both systems apparently only lock and unlock the doors (at least on older slam-door stock), not open or...
I passed three yesterday driving an ordinary 375 service/ The 700s are in the timetable, so they run all of their services, whether payer or AI...
According to that post, AM says they were fitted with TB5: this is a system which auto-locks the doors at 5 km/h, but which heve no central...
Any progress on this?
A pretty pointless use of programmer time, since there's nowhere for it to run outside Germany (in game).
On central door control: the 110 may be fitted, but the coaches aren't! They still have the old manual folding doors, no power.
Call it a loyalty reward and be happy
No, it doesn’t. The 700 is not on BML because the dispatcher routine can’t handle the extra traffic volume, and that would be true running on a...
Modders don't have to worry about licenses and permissions. DTG do.
That's the name of the destination. "West Hempstead Thameslink" is a station. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/West_Hampstead_Thameslink_railway_station
Not in this case, I don't think, since German locos spawn freely with alt-liveries.
It seems that the lights are just rather dim, so that they don't really register in daytime. Contrast the 700, which is lit like an operating room!
Some TOCs only want to license their current branding (e.g. FGW/GWR)
That's true in real life too. Actually the lights ARE on- you can check by boarding one - but not much light escapes the blackout windows.
I'm not sure the 110 was ever equipped with central door control- back in its day coaches didn't have it so there was no need to equip the loco....
