Yes it a bug if u are in the 166 forfeit control untill the next station stop and it should release all traffic

Theres no way to do this in service mode,u can form a 6 car 166 at reading depot early hours, but u will get stopped at reading as all 3 car 166...
Do a full shut down on the train including engine that should reset it all
If will have a another look later to see if i get this issue

If u are 5+ mins early/late,it does that as a lei way either side,might not be ur answer but tbats what happened to me
