If I can piggyback here, has the invisible signal SPAD issue affecting Down freight leaving Crewe Yard via the Independent Lines been addressed?...
I must admit I was pondering this the other day, thinking of getting LGV Med to get the TGV for SEHS. However not paying £25 for it and even with...
Thanks Shimarin. I did wonder about the buttons on the rear console but assumed they were just fuses or circuit breakers.
If I can also piggyback on this thread, I can’t find the actual switch on the desk to enable it, had to use the KB Ctrl-R command.
I’m assuming the full game and our legacy routes will go live at the usual time for Steam users, i.e. 1700 GMT/UTC (1800 BST)?
For save game you can temporarily use the UUU utility and console commands as referenced elsewhere. However it should be noted this is still...
According to Matt, aren’t banking comms etc all on by default now when you take over a service?
As someone who is finding the eye adaptation a little overcooked and washing out the colours of the scenery when viewed from the cab in bright...
I agree about the eye adaptation. It needs to go or at least be toned down/adjustable - see the contrasting pictures I posted from Cajon earlier...
The washed out or adaptive eye look also extends to the head out view so it appears anything attached to the "1" view is going to be affected by this.
Did we ever figure out how to turn eye adaptation off? Just posted in another thread two images from Cajon which demonstrate driving from inside...
It could be, in which case how do we switch it off or at least tone it down?
I think part of the issue here may be how the windscreen on the locos is applying an effect to the graphics. Here are two views of the same scene...
One thing I have noticed setting off from San Bernadino towards Victorville - the car spawners on the adjacent road and traffic are behaving...
Just tested on Cajon and it works - great! One quick question, when I come to restart the game later, can I launch the console from the menu...
Search the forum as there are plenty of topics already. DTG unilaterally decided to remove the save function due to its occasional unreliability....
Thanks Tony. Looks like my first mod for TSW3 going in.
I must admit it was quite nice to get in the GEVO and other than putting either the engine run or generator field switch up, good to go. I was...
I still feel it was the wrong route and wrong choice of locos for a first attempt. A decent length of the Somerset and Dorset or Riviera Line...
I don’t know that it could be created as a permanent mod, looks like we will just have to persevere with the dll injection and console commands...
I guess we will find out tomorrow how much the old routes differ in appearance with the core changes. However something definitely needs to be...
I think it's the Trainzy looking screenshot of the ICE entering (or exiting) a tunnel. Would be better if we had a system like TSC where it shows...
In TSW2 it was possible to overload the 45, usually climbing out of Man Vic and have the engine shut down. However that was (is) player induced...
I think OP means the tube line. As someone mentioned above, it’s pretty much all underground apart from the depot and ATO operated so, no.
I generally like the new lighting but full sun around midday still looks too washed out. We really do need more options to tune the appearance to...
I actually like the acceleration curve, feels like the train has some mass and inertia, unlike all the 42x units on the other German routes which...
Yet to attempt the descent but I know from Run 8 things can get a bit hairy!
I read it as start UUU first.
I intend to give this a try later on. However it is at best a stopgap and no substitute for DTG restoring our built in save game facility.
This forum is for general TSW topics. If you want to post route suggestions, use the specific forum provided for that purpose, with the big word...
Yes it doesn’t seem quite so bad and it’s more rubber banding than stuttering at least to me, as the sound briefly slows down. More noticeable on...
Despite my previous reservations, the German high speed route is growing on me. Just a shame there aren’t any short runs from Fulda to Wurzburg in...
Well here in Swindon UK we had a short thunderstorm just after midnight (woke me up), lasted all of about 15 minutes. And no we didn’t have forked...
Just a shame most if not all of the freight runs are too long to do without saving.
Not at the moment! there's barely been any rain in some parts of the UK for weeks.
Bright sunny day on SKW also looked washed out, the sun effect actually dazzling off the ICE-1 control desk. I also briefly loaded up a Class 66...
I must have been unlucky then. I guess once we get our pool of routes from TSW2, the scope for the lucky dip expands substantially.
I assume you have to inject the dll every time you start the game for this to work?
This was a bug in TSW2, doesn’t look like it’s been addressed. Either caused by an AI train elsewhere on the route having a SPAD or possibly a...
I was quite surprised to see some of my SEHS Journeys shown with a gold medal, i.e. complete as I didn’t think it carried across. Also when I...
Think this mentioned in another thread but will add here, yes UE error message every time I exit the gameback to desktop.
Just mentioned about thunderstorms in another thread. IMHO, far too frequent and duration too long and bolt lightning hitting the ground at low...
Not according to DTG! I guess it has to save the full details of your train including location and position and cab controls, plus any AI trains...
First run on the German High Speed route, Fulda to Kassel. Pros - I love the BR401, has great sound, you can open the windows and doesn't...
Selecting under 30 minutes seems to chuck you in the Training Centre. Which is fair enough but I wonder if the two modules I just did (ICE1 and...
Same here.
I think it basically saved at each stop or key action point, sort of an autosave feature if you will.
Separate names with a comma.
