Medway Valley, a bit of GWE remaster to mix things up, and then back to Medway Valley again. The best 2 routes in the game IMO. Hoping the...
Looking forward to the Richmond extension. Will train announcements be added for this route?
Apologies if this has been covered elsewhere. There are no cab announcements on Xbox, only what’s fed through from the passengers. I experimented...
I agree, that’s the only trouble with this route - I don’t want to play any others now (with exception to GWE remaster which is also fantastic) It...
I’m playing on Xbox SX
I think the trouble is even at 100% the cab announcements are fairly quiet.
That is strange, no idea what’s happening then. I don’t think my TV is the problem as compared to other TOD4 routes, especially GWE remaster it’s...
Well I’m on series X and I promise you it most definitely is a noticable issue. It’s nothing against the developers and their amazing talents but...
Just to add, I’m also experiencing this lighting issue on Xbox SX. I absolutely love the route and the attention to detail so hate to bring any...
Is anyone else noticing issues with the lighting for this route on console? Having done a few more runs on Xbox SX and whatever time of day,...
The route is fantastic for sure but I have to agree that the lighting is overexposed on XBox SX causing a lot of shadow pop in issues too. I’m...
Will there be any improvements to the passenger system? Is it not possible to program it so that the train fully empties at terminating stations...
Is there any updates from Hans on the Mildmay Line extension along with the fixes and when we can expect to see them? Thanks
Thanks, that’s good news. Sorry I must’ve missed that part.
Will this remaster have train announcements added? I only noticed platform announcements mentioned in the article.
The audio levels for platform and cab announcements are still not being saved when restarting the game.
After watching the roadmap stream tonight I have zero faith that blurred textures will ever be fixed.
Audio levels of all announcements reset to 100% once the game has been restarted despite having saved set levels. On Xbox SX at least.
I knew from the beginning this would be a feature I wouldn’t use, along with dynamic weather and conductor mode. I think the announcements and...
I was thinking of moving from Xbox to PC this year but with the amount of DLC I already own being the thing holding me back. All this news though...
Has a DTG new release ever gone smoothly? Would love to know how things like wrong builds etc get pushed out on release day. Are consoles that...
Yes at least on Xbox this has been an issue for years now. One of those many forgotten bugs left unfixed.
Is there any update on optimisation for 9th gen consoles, especially Xbox SX? Will blurry textures ever be fixed or will console users just have...
Unfortunately like dynamic weather and guard mode I think random train faults is another feature that will be permanently switched off or not used...
I agree to some extent and have been tempted to get a decent PC myself. The thing is though PS5 doesn’t have the same draw distance issues. It was...
Well to be fair (minus the language) the OP has a point. All this talk of core and audio fixes, I just don’t see it. Draw and shadow distance on...
Thanks that worked for me as well. Got all my dlc now
Managed to get most of my compatible content on Xbox but some are not recognised as owned; Birmingham cross city Blackpool branches East Coastway...
I’ve been enjoying the route on Xbox SX but noticed a few issues; The cab announcements audio level doesn’t save and resets to 100% when...
Totally unplayable here! DTG please sort this out now!
The games loads ok for me but starting a service on Riviera Line there’s flashing lo res graphics making it unplayable
Yeah same here on Xbox SX. Totally unplayable. What’s going on DTG??
I’d love to see the Metropolitan line come to TSW at some point. I can imagine if Johannes at Incredible Trains teamed up with Just Trains to make...
Free starter pack for me. Not interested in the core routes but happy for those that got their wish - not that I remember ever seeing these get...
Am I right in thinking… DTG decide on a route, what length is feasible and with a set budget a time limit to achieve this? If this is the case...
The main things that come to mind are; Dynamic weather - changes are way too extreme. Same generic platform announcements since TSW2. Weather...
There’s definitely still navigation issues as no one boards or exits the train!
It’s running fine on Xbox SX for me but only after losing about half of the layers.
The way I see it is DTG always give the same kind of answers. They seem like politicians at this point and unfortunately you have to take...
After watching the roadmap stream I’m not convinced DTG are going to fix anything for consoles. Blurry textures is apparently top priority? But...
Can the TOD4 lighting be fixed so it remains consistent regardless of viewing position? Also travelling under bridges and underpasses makes the...
After losing about 50% of the layers I was able to do a full service with no issues at all on XBoxSX. If consoles can’t use the full layers it...
On Xbox SX I did a run from Stratford to WJ with all layers on. Everything was fine until Camden Road. The rest of the run was low res, blurry...
I think the idea being the more people asking the same question, the more likely it will be addressed and not ignored.
I’d also like to know if the route can be extended to Richmond at a later date?
The solution is to do a sub surface line like the Metropolitan line, which has been requested constantly for years! It doesn’t have to be a deep...
Playing the game on Xbox SX there’s rarely any decent discounts, especially for DLC I’m interested in. Saying that, I don’t really have that much...
The Bakerloo line is what got me into playing TSW in the first place. Been waiting 5 years hoping another line would be added! Correct me if I’m...
There’s issues with multiple timetable services for the 710. An infinite red signal at Kenton caused by two ‘72 stock trains at H&W turn back...
The big reveal for me was the North London Line. All went a bit downhill from there.
