For me probably of all the "improvements" over the last few years the most immersive has been suspension. To a point now where I often don't play...
Wasn't there some talk of Clinchfield being remastered or am I talking out of my hat?!
I wish all trains started with safety systems on.
Yes of course. I remember DTG showing off SEHS with the new lighting I forget it was a TSW2 route. Maybe it is not just TOD3 and before routes...
The recent Rivet timetables have been very good so not sure the grumpiness is necessary. Tyler seems very passionate.
I don't think I'll be driving SEHS much after seeing that video, maybe for a blast down the high speed section. I never really consider TSW3...
I was just thinking about the MSTS version the other day. I have the disk somewhere. I wondered how feasible it would be to install open rails...
Personally i would be happy with a modern and more historic version but it would cause complaints in sure. Would love to see NWC set early 80's...
Maybe it was accurate then but things have happened since and it's accurate now! When you make things timescales slip.
Indeed as I don't imagine it would have much of a run on Birmingham to Crewe.
I don't think the mod includes Bakerloo anyway. It's great on some routes, ECW for example where it will soon be defunct. And I'm grateful it...
If they hadn't the roadmap would be empty and there would be all sorts of conspiracy theories about the future of the sim as well as complaining...
It was something that happened in TSC. I remember in the NWC route in particular there were a couple of a areas it happened. I just got used to it...
The 387 will add more variety to the route and will add a nice short service for out and back runs.
The video looks fantastic, this is going to be one of the best routes so far. I enjoyed the TSC version very much. Things are looking up for TSW...
I agree with the idea of having it as a playable option, I would often choose it myself. I don't know the inner workings of the sim that well...
I thought I heard Matt say that but I was in the middle of washing up! I was expecting one to appear on the roadmap but it didn't. This pack is...
I like what they have done so far, the 805 is very well made as is the Crewe route despite an unfortunate start. The class 70 is interesting and...
Just stating an opinion, I wouldn't want to stop it appearing for others, I just don't want to see it myself appearing on lots of AI trains....
I was more thinking if it starting appearing on AI trains, not as one to drive.
Whilst I am not fond of the 66 they are the mainstay freight loco. I don't want to see the class 70 subbing in for them, it's not realistic. If...
I'm not even an Electrostar fan particularly but I'm looking forward to this route very much. It's all about variety, routes like this compliment...
Are there any plans to bring working suspension to some older trains? Some relatively recent like the 710.
Thanks for taking the time to do the remaster. The lighting is enough for me (and the timetable but it's been done) anything else is a bonus as...
You could in the past, but they removed the dislike feature as I think some got upset over it. DTG are well aware of the blurry textures and as...
And if we want the other older routes to be upgraded, complaining about them when they do, is the right way of going about ensuring we don't get...
It was done by a new third party I think possibly as a practice run from what was said, and from what was said it wasn't exactly a rush. I think...
Yes the stream quality definiately is inferior to the GWE one. It looks okay and I am sure will look better when we see it for ourselves.
Just done my first run on the remaster. A HST from Reading to Paddington. Just one word really "awesome". I haven't driven this route for several...
That's a leak of the Halloween DLC!
I agree coming into New Street feels so much more immersive now, I was someone who wasn't too bothered before but I wouldn't go back to the old...
I wouldn't object to it altered to being present day but if it got remastered I would rather it stayed as is. It's currently the only 1990's...
Fully expected and it's obvious WSR and Thomas passed the test. I hope it does well. Plenty of TSW content to look forward to. People who hyped...
I don't think it's TOD4 although haven't driven it for a couple of years.
I'm sure he did too.
I think the Mercedes is a 190. The hatchback in TVL and other routes from that period looks freelance with the vague suggestion of a mark 3 Ford...
I don't think it is. It was the route where TSW3 was leaked during the stream if I recall.
I don't watch reviews I have eyes and ears. And that is one. Some YouTube reviewers seem to have a chip on their shoulder!
It was their second route and their first passenger route to be fair! I'm sure they have learnt a lot in the last eight years.
Are you concerned about the quality of Riviera, the WMR/CC class 170 and the GWE remaster?
Well it's not fun as it's too frequent. If it happened once every ten drives for example it would be more fun. You can disable it at least.
If it was properly recreated as in Rev Awdry's book of the island, I might even buy it.
I've turned them off for now. I like the idea of them but it stops becoming fun. Even the WMR class 172's aren't that unreliable.
Thomas is a good shout. Maybe the Thomas on WSR was an experiment.
That record is getting worn now! I take it you don't have Riviera or the class 170 pack? Further to that it appears they were involved in the GWE...
The inability to turn of unrealistic substitutions on some routes without disabling a complete layer. And NPC's need sorting out as their...
Yes it looked like a brand new route. Loved the busy timetable and the lighting improvements. Thanks to Liam and all involved.
Didn't they have their hand in Riviera?
I would sooner ask my cat her views I'm afraid.
Well of course. The remaster was free though.
