Would love this to happen but feel like realistically it might end up being PC only as could see it melting even gen 9 consoles.
He did some promo for TSW 4 and met Matt on one of his videos, so presume that’s how this came about.
Not got round to getting Cargo Line 2 yet but believe it adds quite a bit to the route at Mountsorrel.
Was playing it earlier for the first time in ages. Kinda short but with the visual updates it’s had since launch it looks great and there’s plenty...
I’ve seen him at a few diesel galas, he’s the real deal. Seems a really decent lad as well. Always enjoy his stuff.
It’s been in the game since TSW 4 launched.
Had those layers disabled and it was originally fine but started getting blurry textures again anyway on my last run. I’d forgotten about the...
I’m up to just shy of 500gb of content so don’t keep older versions. With that being said I’m tempted to reinstall 5 to have less blurry versions...
Was Edinburgh-Glasgow TOD4? Not played it in a while so can’t remember.
Would love to have this in the game. By far my most travelled route as a passenger IRL
The slow line HST ones are stopping services iirc. Think they call at Maidenhead and Slough.
Route looks incredible to be honest (and always thought East coastway was the best looking pre TOD 4 route anyway). Will definitely be picking up...
Pretty sure it’ll be a separate product from Skyhook at some point.
Still one of my favourite routes, hope the mythical technically unannounced Scotrail HST turns up one day.
I wonder if it’s a legacy issue with the route as always used to have this issue on the scenario where you have to drag a HST with the 66 - saving...
Sounds like the 170 will get updated along with the imminent East Coastway remaster.
Been going back to some of the old scenarios that I either never did on my ongoing profile or had never got round to (ie some of the Cargo Line...
Just had a quick go doing an end to end run in the Flixtrain Vectron and thought it was perfectly acceptable for a smaller scale remaster. Much...
Back when I started playing back in 2018/2019 (forget which), I’d only just started to rekindle my love of trains so I remember being pretty self...
Oddly all the stops on the Windermere Branch are selectable in Scenario Planner. Created a dummy scenario to go between them and it works albeit...
I had this earlier. Only ever had one brief incident of blurry textures prior to the update (in a snow storm) but got a few miles east of Plymouth...
Tucked away in the Roadmap article, but this releases on Thursday.
What a pleasant surprise!
I’m fine with smaller scale remasters of older routes, appreciate GWE levels of revamping are the exception rather than the rule.
Managed to get rid of all blurry textures on Series X by removing the 350 variants and the 802. Doesn’t affect the busyness of the route too much...
Much respect for this, not many people on here would hold their hand up like this, so fair play.
I’ve had the exact same issue at this spot.
Appeared fine for me and saw one as AI on a run (on Xbox).
Did a Reading to Paddington run on the HST earlier on Xbox Series X. Looked stunning, performance was smooth and managed most of the journey...
Sounds like the ideal Thomas game. Will enjoy playing this with my kids.
Picked up Tharandter Rampe and aside from the dated lighting, it’s an excellent route. Really challenging gradients (in a good way).
If it’s not then it’s definitely the best looking pre TOD4 route for sure.
Pretty sure IOW 2022 is TOD 4.
They’re all pretty decent, but bear in mind you’ll need SEHS to get the most out of the Class 700. Glossop doesn’t get much love, but it’s one I...
iirc the Voyager at launch was having this issue when in double units it was doubling the faults, so possibly same thing is happening here?
Unless I’ve misread, think it says they’re both out this month.
Great route and can’t wait for the remaster, out this month too by the sounds of it?! Seems smart to remaster this alongside the 171 pack, turns...
Unreal sale. All five German routes that I don’t already own are on sale, including 4 older ones I’ve not seen on sale in years if at all.
Same for me on Xbox - never had blurrier on WCMLS before, but did a northbound service in the 805 and had blurry textures from just outside Euston...
The original founders edition on console was just GWE iirc.
I’ve done exactly the same! So it’s been that long now it’s doubly going to feel like a new route when it drops.
They never release stuff at the weekend, presumably in case urgent patches are needed, but fingers crossed for next week given the wording of that...
Really small quibble but the headlight switch seems incredibly sensitive on Xbox. Move the stick slightly and it goes halfway round making it...
For me at least, I find it a really enjoyable high speed blast from Crewe to Wolverhampton and then a change of pace between there and Birmingham....
Shap, Fife Circle and SEHS have usually been my go to routes, but just lately it’s been Birmingham to Crewe. Despite being on a console and thus...
UK trains illuminate very little so it’s not pathetic, uncaring or inattentive.
I’ve had some since the update, mostly whilst in the Voyager, but it’s nowhere near as egregious as it is on B2C and Mildmay.
Shap #1 for me. Beautiful route and the Class 87 (or 86) makes for constantly engaging gameplay with the tap changers and managing the gradients.
My real life experience of going on an 805 included a 25 minute delay due to a door fault, so it’s probably prototypical :D
I tend to do this on all routes except for Bakerloo in which I drive as aggressively as possible to try and keep on time. Feel sorry for any...
