These routes have not yet had that fix applied to them yet, it is a work in progress.
I have not got the route yet myself hoping that I will be able to soon.
Sounds like his tiny hinting way of saying that it may it will be coming, but than again cannot say anything official as it is not on the roadmap.

I didn't get anything when opening any of DTG's websites on my computer.
There are a few others that I found also had some mountains in them, but the one I did not see were signals. So I am not sure on the signaling system.

I agree each route/subway has it' s own uniqueness that makes it stand out from the others.

I am thinking that the Yellowhead Pass route might be a better choice

Does the patch have a readme file, if it does I would suggest reading it as it will guide you installing the patch.
I have tried it yet, as I do not have the money to purchase this route yet.
