It´s not an option on consoles. All you can do on TSW 2 is choose between 4k and HD, which is a different thing.

On PS4pro some waggons looked like they are beeing "teleported". Noticed it only on external camera and they sorted themself out quickly.

If you disable the marker in the options menu, the distance information is shown at the top left of the screen. Maybe that is better to read.
You don`t need PS+. On PS4/PS4pro you can put your savegames on a USB Stick and transfer them. Might work on PS5 aswell.
