The German trains already have working displays. The 377 will be the first one to have scrolling displays.

Making EMUs for TSW is more effort and cost than a locomotive, so most if their time, effort, and cost went in to making the 377.
There are some AP sounds. ;)
Short routes don’t really matter to me. What does matter is what kinds of activities are in the route.
DTG wants to keep it realistic by keeping the trains on the routes that they are supposed to be on.
Every locomotive DLC requires a certain route.
