Frankly this is a very minor quibble. I've never stood on that platform, so never observed the gradient. On the real train I rarely noticed the...
That was exciting. Glad it's sorted.
Extending Ashford to Ramsgate, Margate and back to Faversham, would give the whole St. Pancras loop. Something to dream about.
Bug fixes are more important than multiplayer, especially the save game.
No matter what route they made someone would be posting it's wrong, not enough length, no new stock, wrong timetables, what about bloom, ambient...
Agree. I've only once visited Sheerness and have no wish to see the dreariness portrayed in game...
In the swirling mist of future DLC's could this ever lead to an Ashford, Ramsgate, Margate, Faversham extension completing SEHS?
Agree. Bug fixes in the past have been so slow to emerge that it has cost DTG a lot of support and much irritation on these forums. Adam's team...
The Ashford extension is new to TSW2 with different timetables etc.. Only the rolling stock is shared. Looking forward to it as German high speed...
I've said in the past that these forums contain a lot of knowledgable railfan's, which DTG should utilise for beta testing. Members have always...
Love the "Resolution of it's issues"! Off to sharpen my pitchfork, as I assume this will delay release by several years...
The SEHS is an upgrade to the existing route and a major extension to it. View it more as an addition route using existing rolling stock.
Say "No" to wizened marsupials on our trains...
The real reasonDTG has got a bad press and dissatisfaction on these forums is that ever since the series started they have been exceptionally...
Old mods can also cause that effect. Best just to disable them all and check as you add them back. Worked for me when I had that problem.
Eurostar would make a fine dlc. If the route is successful we might see one.
I'm not playing much at the moment, not because I'm tired with the game, but because it's too damned hot. Not worth frying the video card. As it...
"ya know... that Mat_Jam_Ca sounds to be trying too hard..." Nothing like a good conspiracy theory. You guys are sure getting your money worth on...
What's the point of beta-testers if they allow such stupidity to pass?
Like many I'm still here after Railworks, TS and TSW. That means they got something right over the years. Each release has seen incremental...
If good intentions were sleepers we'd have a new route by now...
Spot on Chief. The forums are full of members who demand perfection for peanuts. While not wealthy I'm willing to pay for quality and would be...
People seem to express disappointment in advance of every route released. There will always be frustrated expectations due to the medium and the...
This was spelled out on last nights stream (11th Aug). Better to just assume that it doesn't work as intended and be pleasantly surprised if they...
As always wait for reviews if concerned. The existing Unreal engine remains at the core of the game so I doubt if there will be major...
Used to love running Big Boy on the old TS version. This would make an awesome DLC
As someone who travels through Ashford regularly I can confirm it's an ugly dump. Just hoping DTG will be applying the porcine lipstick...
Oooh Does this mean another underground route is on the cards?
I'm looking forward to the enhanced SEHS. I know both routes well and look forward to any improvements to the original. And yes Edinburgh to...
For many it seems buy or bye-bye...
Lighting will never be fixed given the medium. All we can argue over is what is acceptable. De gustibus etc..
Hoping the scenery on the first half of SEHS gets a face lift with the new route. Several places were sub standard in the original.
Scenery affects frame rate. Remember the effect of too much grass on Sherman Hill. This will have to run on older machines.
Like your thinking OP. Always enjoyed running Amtrak on the old TS.
Knowing both routes in real life I'll be buying it. Any improvements to the existing route will be a bonus.
Clickbait title for the entitled :( Just wait and see. Then buy it or not.
Played the old TS Cajun Pass a lot and enjoyed it. Looking forward to revisiting it again and the enhanced SEHS. Sadly another fast German route...
Hurrah. Finally we can see an end to this useless thread. We're doomed, doomed I tell you !
The old TS Woodhead with new graphics please.
Don't worry people will be "massively disappointed" whatever they release :)
Old mods are nearly always the cause of crashes. With so many updates and patches recently it helps to have a clean start and reintroduce slowly.
Time to protest that DTG has failed yet again and rage quit. Beach balls are better than tree stumps all hacked off at a regulation two feet above...
Well done OP, but it's so much not for me. Have over 300gb of Tsw2 and doubt I have more than ten collectables to my name. And as for...
Ditto. Happy to pay again for Cornwall if they would make the same sort of effort. Feedback from the forums has obviously gotten through. Let's...
Love how every aspect of the game comes under extreme scrutiny. I'm another in the don't care camp. It's part of the packaging that goes straight...
Wouldn't do to praise Rivet without pointing out their failings :) Personally I'm glad to receive the patch and hope it's a sign of a new...
Nice to hear a knowledgable evaluation. Suspect the line side details are limited by hardware and software requirements.
Dtg is just like Apple in miniature. All reveals are held back for maximum impact while the fans and forums seethe with wild speculation. Just...
