yeah, then we get back to me moaning that consoles are holding back how amazing TSW could really be if they don't have to think 'this feature...
yeah, a few 'engine.ini' commands can change how TSW looks and plays, would be nice to have something like a draw distance slider in the menu...
yeah, those shadows appearing at such a short distance look horrible.... just like TSW2 :(
Then why don't they build the PC version with a much longer draw distance? then scale that back for the consoles? why are we stuck with such a...
I bet if TSW handled the timetables like zusi does, there'd be no problems with save games etc, when restarting the game after a save, it'd...
RE: the complexity of the train based stuff... signals, safety systems, dispatcher etc...... Isnt that something Zusi3 (hobby edition) does......
This draw distance thing.. imagine you are writing code for a game, originally on the PC, but it will get ported to consoles as ..? 4 - 8...
i wouldn't expect anything but stuttering, it's kind of the trademark of the game now isn't it? my laptop slightly exceeds the recommended...
ok i know it's not exactly a DX thing.... but every route DLC is effectively a different game in TSW... hence people who play with the .ini...
here's a bad deal.... what if the choice of 3/4 DLC's don't interest you? i am only interested in German local passenger stuff, S-Bahn /...
i have absolutely no interest in american or english routes, and steam traction is of no interest to me in any simulator .... ever. I like only...
Don't forget, a W is pronounced as a V in German, i make it: Vertz - boerg
so... they have separated loco's / trains from routes with this training center thing. This means that future route DLC's no longer need a dozen...
ahh yeah... that's where it'd need to either read past weather reports, or you can only have live weather working when you are driving a service...
The thing that would make the dynamic weather work... would be real time weather. Something i've mentioned before, as it's a feature i love in...
a polished up video to show off the game is a little different to actually playing the content.
AFAIK that limit is put in place by sony themselves, and not by any game makers, so its a console specific limitation, and not one that's easy...
i'm only interested in German trains / routes, but i like commuter / S-Bahn style runs, so this German high speed route is of no interest to me...
i found that the epic store is usually a little cheaper to buy the main game... as they are trying to win you over from steam, But then once...
i guess we still have no direct input / joystick controls available in TSW3?
Glad i'm not the only one who hates all this stuff that tries to make it seem as if you are playing the game looking through a camera lens, I...
i'm all for TSW being a serious and realistic train driving simulator, that's all i'm interested in, the operation of the trains and driving them...
if it is the railway to Garmisch Partenkirchen, i wonder if they have modeled the cable car up one of the mountains there.......
stuff relating to a camera taking the photo... F3.5 is the aperture setting, ISO 200 is the film speed (used on digital cameras as a way to...
Maybe what is missing from the photo above is the BR420 that Maik has been working on, that must be ready by now... only i guess he's under a NDA...
it's going to be fun watching the forum explode if this 'big' announcement is something like: ''we've all gone on holiday to a tropical island...

The S-bahn Berlin is pretty unique tho, thankfully there's a fair bit of stuff for it on TSC, someone is about half way through modeling the...

ever wondered why we're stuck with roughly 40 mile routes? can't be something to do with the limited memory on gen 8 hardware could it??...
TSW2 has a load of parts to it that are 'too fragile to attempt to change' just look at the recent updates... fix one problem, create another...
what ever they do, you can be sure this forum will be full of people picking it to bits, with posts like 'the toilet full light does not work,...
If only Maik worked at DTG, as quality controller or something like that, can you imagine all the trains having the high standards he has with...
i've been reading through old railway accident archives... the letters written to the board of trade, as i'm currently reading ones from about...
so maybe TSW2/3 needs to have a couple of different driving modes, like TSC has with the different levels of the HUD for simple to advanced...
would be nice if it were a more realistic cold start tho... i know they can't simulate every air valve that needs moving and the drivers smart...
re: multiplayer... i'd rather they work on the driving aspect of this game and get that perfected before diverting workers to multiplayer stuff.
there are discounts to be had for Zusi if you look... a 2 second google found this:...
i still haven't read what multiplayer in a train driving game would actually give us, Do we get to wave at other players as we pass them...
People saying Zusi is expensive...?? : i don't get this 'expensive price tag' thing for zusi, With Zusi 3 hobby version, you buy it for ~£50....
so... no emergency brake application... just keep on filming, makes a better tik tok video that way :D
Game of skittles anyone?
and have the forum full of people bashing their latest flagship DLC release again?
