DTG once mentioned on a stream that the cab on the 166 is extremely silent during the drive so I guess they have modelled it as close to the real...
I agree. It would be nice if the selected brake type didn't change back to the loco brake when you get out of the chair. Hopefully DTG can...
On the actual train doors are opened by a guard - not the driver. That's why there's no buttons. :)
Cab lights will work correctly in the version being released on July 24th. Matt just showed it in tonight’s stream.
I guess the most "pro" option would be to drive with the HUD turned completely off. ;-) I do that on the Class 66 which is probably about as...
Yes, this is very annoying. I believe several bug reports have been filed on it so hopefully it will be fixed soon. Apparently the problem is...
Yes, WSR was confirmed to be released on Xbox last night on the DTG stream. Nothing on RT yet, though but next Friday at 6PM UK time there will be...
Yes, the West Somerset Railway DLC is coming to Xbox soon. No specific date yet, though.
DTG has confirmed that the West Somerset Railway DLC is coming to Xbox. No specific date yet but "soon". Also there's a live stream on June 1st....
I’m starting to get excited for next week. :)
Wow, thanks Mike. That's great! :D I presume there may be more on the route I haven't found yet and I guess the indicators will vary from route...
I've seen the following route indicators in GWE but haven't been able to find much info on what they indicate. Does anyone know? D R R1 U SS CL2...
Yes switching junctions using the map is very difficult. I recommend using the free camera mode to locate and flip the switches.
Watch for the 'calling-on' signal to turn on to indicate that permission has been granted to pass the red signal: [ATTACH]
That’s my impression too, colorint. Before the patch you would have loud exterior sound in the cab even though doors and windows were closed but...
As JasonARJ3125 mentioned it's on the fuse panel just behind the drivers seat. In the top row of fuses there's one marked "AWS".
Just got home and I can confirm that there’s a new 5,8 GB update available. I already had the March update installed. I’m sure the release notes...
Last update was 5 GB as well. Maybe the whole game was re-packaged or something to include the updates, don't know how these things work.
So it's a new update? Hmmmm.... sounds exciting! :)
If it's the one from late March then the fixes are described here:...
It seems that AI has been scaled down quite a bit in the current release of TSW and a lot of trains have been taken out of service to limit stress...
I've seen the following route indicators in TSW so far but haven't been able to find much info on what they indicate. I'm guessing they could mean...
I upgraded from the original Xbox One to the Xbox One X recently and you do get a performance increase in TSW but the major changes will still...
GMAN001 I saw that too yesterday. The initial light inside the 66 cab is in fact the outside yard lights shining into the cab but when your train...
Yeah, it's a bug and has been reported to Dovetail. Hopefully it will be fixed in the next update.
As I remember the wipers will come on if you press the left d-pad but if you press and hold the left d-pad the doors controls should show. Could...
Yeah, I didn't get the whole "founders edition" thing at first when I bought it and only learnt of it when I started visiting this forum several...
That would be great, Jay! Thanks!
Never had that either. Does the power supply get hot?
Happens quite often. I did a service run a couple of days ago and missed a stop because the entire station hadn't loaded! :D
The Class 66 is here: http://www.dawlishtrains.com/cabs-loco-class-47-70.html
Have you checked that the Direct Brake is released in both cabs?
I've noticed that on the Class 66 the active brake will often switch to Direct Brake if you get out of the seat to do something and then sit back...
+1 I like to drive with most of the HUD turned off but there’s now way you’re gonna make those 40 mph crossovers without “Next Speed Limit HUD”...
SimFan, are you using the extra paddles on the Elite controller for operating the train?
If you place the front camera just in front of the windshield you can get some pretty nice views while still being able to operate the train....
Hi Mike I've been looking for a similar option but in order to turn the center dot off. In the PC version you can control the opacity of the...
At the moment it seems you can’t. If you attach a USB keyboard to your Xbox you can press F1 to remove the entire HUD - which is great for...
Press and hold the left side of the D-pad on your controller which will bring up a menu on the screen where you can unlock the doors on left...
UPDATE: Tried Shift-F1 as well and like F1 it removed the entire HUD. Although that includes the center dot it would be nice to keep some of the...
I can never hit those switches when using the map. It’s way too sensitive. I either get out of the cab or use the free camera mode to throw the...
I tried Ctrl+8 on a USB keyboard but apparently the 'Ctrl' key isn't functional on the Xbox One (or mapped into TSW) so I just changed the camera...
Shift-F1 is that the center dot only? 'Cause I tried F1 and that removed the entire HUD.
Make sure you have released the direct brake in the cab you're switching away from. The automatic brake can be controlled from both cabs but the...
Thanks! Much appreciated. :)
Am I correct in assuming that on the Class 66 the light indicator should say "HEAD DAY/RIGHT" instead of "HEAD NIGHT/RIGHT"? [ATTACH]
Would it be possible in a future release to add an option to remove the white center dot in the middle of the screen like it is on the PC?...
Does that mean that the direct brake and the auto brake is the same brake when it comes to the actual physical brake pad on the wheel but the...
Hi CORRADINIUS The patch released last night should fix this. :)
Is it correct that they both say "HEAD/NIGHT" (see attachment)? Shouldn't one of them say day? [ATTACH]
Separate names with a comma.
