We have a tilting EMU on Boston Sprinter thanks to the new Acela express, so this shouldn't be a huge problem
I also agree, since ICEs are very important trains, and would always fit on a typical Hauptstrecke
Something that is also special about the Schnellfahrstrecke is also the ETCS system
