More variety from layers is a nice to have. Maybe if NTP and TVL get a preserved crew pass some more layers and/or substitution could be added.
Does anyone know the speed limit on Sherman Hill? Is it fast, or slow like SPG?
I second this. What a brilliant scenario!
Speaking of the route selection screen; its a bit nit picking, but the photo of the locomotives on the route selection screen are at slightly...
Could be a steam loco DLC, that they don't want to announce yet
There is a reason SLI is basically dead. 1 powerful GPU will always be better than 2 weaker ones.
I noticed this too in a recently play on Oakville. Perhaps it will be fixed in the preservation crew update
I think with some more time they will get there. DTG had issues with their first few routes too (NEC, rapid transit). But they have gotten better....
Riesa Dresden BR 185.5[ATTACH]
An open letter to DTG. Please release the Spirit of Steam when it's actually ready. On one hand, I don't want to have to wait until August next...
You should add more detail about each route -rollingstock, time period, route length, what makes it new and different
I agree that more info would be good. Without already knowing which service on DRA is the super heavy one, so one may easily miss it and never...
On steam at least, you can uninstall individual DLC, but if you want to play again you will have to redownload
Of the three, Riesa Dresden is my favourite. The patch that added the Meissen branch and more freight was pretty nice. If you could only get one I...
Apparently it's to do with QA. Apparently it's easier to make a brand new model than to update an old one and have to check it on every route....
Ruhr Sieg Nord with the 363 adds some cool services where the shunter works with a freight train
That would makes sense, but DTG have said they wont do achievements for any platform for loco DLCs in the future
I feel like driving through the channel tunnel would be very boring.
Hey everyone. I'm excited for steam trains when they finally come. What are you expecting will be the first to come out? I know people will want...
After reading this thread, I think it's time to give RSN a play again this weekend.
If I had the time, money, knowledge and patience I would totally start a game studio to make Australian trains for TSW.
A definite buy from me. In terms of Sydney lines, probably second only behind the T8 in terms of preference for me.
I'd only stick with DTG until the third party devs get their act together.
I'll always back anything Australian. I do hope we get an Aussie route one day.
I'm all for a pannier tank. One of my favourite looking steam engines.
It might get fixed in TSW3
We don't have anything crazy fast. 160 km/h is the fastest I believe.
I would wholeheartedly back anything Australian. But I am a bit biased towards NSW since I live there haha. Once steam comes out I would love to...
Until they actually do the fixes, and not just saying they're working on it, you just have to assume its not happening.
Are they used near Boston? Could bring it back for a different part of the NEC. Would also add drivable freight for Boston dlc.
What was the 2018 announcement?
I love that the trains practically run along the water up near Brooklyn and the Hawksbury. Would be awesome to see done in TSW.
It's a shame they weren't added when WSR got its upgrade.
They've said they are looking at it, but its not on the roadmap. So gotta assume its not happening until it is :(
Ideally every steam game will be on the steam deck. I believe it already runs with Proton on Linux anyway.
I think that is their plan. They are going to add Rush Hour passengers to all routes at the same time, rather than one after the other.
When was the last time a DLC released without any glaring issues? Surely beta testing would help pick up on these before release.
Not really to do with the screenshot, but I like the ribs on the 187. It adds some character and depth. Anyone know if they have a purpose?
On the roadmap stream they said something to do with wanting to do them all at the same time, but Epic might not want them to release that many...
Alternatively, a Ryzen 5 5600x could cover you pretty well for a CPU
I think support for scenario designer will come in the next preserved crew update
To me, I dont really care about whether a plan model isn't perfect in a train simulator. I'd rather the dev time was spent on something more useful.
It is a bit disappointing that there are only 2 freight services. A few more would have been nice.
More variety is always good.
More variety is always good. I hope all the AI trains get added at Brighton.
I'm hoping additional locos get announced later down the track. Otherwise lots of layering.
This is quite frustrating. Is it a new thing? I have only noticed it more recently
I hope they change it. I can't imagine it being too much work to change. And it would improve the value of the 204 DLC if it can be used on other...
Ah, maybe if we drum up enough attention, we could get Rivet to update it so we can use their loco more!
For some added info, Central to Macarthur is about 56 kilometres, plus the City Circle and the airport bypass for a few extra kilometres.
Separate names with a comma.
