I doubt it, there where no fixes in the last patches for the sand patch route and i guess there wont be one in the future.

Known issue since the TSW beta. DTG don't care to fix this and other issues on the sand patch route.

Yes it worked until the GWE release in September 2017. After that it had many many times reported to DTG, but nobody cares there about this issue.
