Where the dirt trains done wrong for the purposes of gameplay? Seems with as much work as has gone into this route, its weird to use the wrong...
If only they would fix the horn on the SD-40.
I can dig it. Good proposal as usual.
Do they really run Gensets at Cumberland? I thought CSX mostly used them in New York and places like that. Also one thing I forgot to mention...
Can see some of this happening, but removing the hump is too big I think.
Any update on when the SD 40 on Clinchfield is getting the right horn sound? I remember them saying it was planned and they just used the one off...
Far as I know UP does not run them on Cane Creek.
You cant do the D&RGW, without tunnel motors.
I would like a D&RGW retro pack.
I can dig the legends pack.
Would say its pretty much a given we get it eventually. Personally I want an AEM-7. Rock it old school.
And that is why saving regularly is a good idea.
Like it but don't see it happening. Also CSX has been rebuilding/downgrading their GP40-2s.
Adding a locomotive pack is less work than a whole new route. Especially during Covid.
Route:Sand Patch Grade Locomotive:AC4400CW and C40-8W[ATTACH]
Route: Peninsula Corridor Locomotive: GP38-2[ATTACH]
More countries is always a good thing.
Honestly would prefer to rock it old school with an AEM-7.
Route:CRR Locomotive:SD-40 Landmark:Blue Diamond Mine. [ATTACH]
In the spirit of this, feel Clinchfield would benefit from a 90s pack. Would be an interesting way to get us more CSX locomotives in the game....
Figured CSX or NS would have the Conrail license.
Would not be the first route to get a retro locomotive.
Didn't occur to me all the other potential routes it could be used on, lol.
Actually not a bad idea. In the days of steam and early diesels the route ran over far more miles.
[MEDIA] Yes I am trying to revive this thread. Why? Cause this route would be great. Could even set it before the Empire Mine closed to make it...
I like this idea. Would also give Clinchfield more variety of traffic.
AEM-7 as a DLC? Whose with me?
Sherman Hill. Give us Americans something.
They fix any of the big issues with Arizona Divide? The route appeals to me, and even if they are nothing ground breaking, I always liked the blue...
Works with me.
What kind of freight runs on these tracks?
So far leaning towards Feather River Canyon, and Soldier Summit (with the extension). Honestly 70s through the early 90s is my fav era of American...
Feather River Canyon seems pretty loved.
Anyway thanks for all the suggestions guys.
Sounds good. Just see the charm in shorter trains and shorter routes as well.
Eh, short trains don't bother me much either. Guess it depends alot on the length of the route. My taste in trains is a bit weird to explain I...
I really don't mind slow routes. Really sells the fact you're battling 1,000 yards or so of rolling metal up a mountain. Thanks of r all the...
