Usual gig, so long as you own the original AP 142 the sounds are aliased to the new one.
The DTG version looks better, but the AP sounds really compliment it.

Try verifying your game files, I have this problem on a regular basis and the verification process usually fixes things.
It's worth getting the AP 142 and free sound patch for the DTG 142.
Finally got around to taking this beast for a spin last night, and wow, well done Searchlight Simulations. Stunning.
There could be an entire subdivision of the DTG website purely for manuals. Would make much sense.
Mate, isn't the original 3rd party dev who built this now doing something for TSW2 for you guys? If so, it's a 10 minute job to fix the paragraph...
Nice one Jamie :)
I reckon the 153 is due an overhaul, or maybe an enhancement pack.
All noted and taken on board.
And TS looks just as good, if not more realistic, than TSW here.
Rivet generally turn out good releases, so I'm happy to support them. I already have the full freeware Suburban Glasgow route, but I'm still...
I picked it up, worth a punt to support Rivet. One day I may get to actually use it :)
Verify your game files mate. TS could do with a truly sensible system for people with lots of DLC. Odd that it's never been sorted out.
Awesome shots mate, picked this up last night, can't wait to give it a go.
Thanks PH, I'll give it a go on your recommendation at some point. It would be interesting working for Rivet, and I imagine they have a great...
Steam sale is a go! Also, loving the focus on redirection :) https://store.steampowered.com/publisher/dovetailgames/list/35139
As it stands Peter, I've managed to build a ballast tamper from scratch without leaning on other people, and here, I aim to offer as much guidance...
This is where you come when UKTS is broken. Every time. It must be good here ;)
Eric, you're very welcome mate, makes it all worth the effort :)
Here. Enough said.
Nope, just soaking up your vinegar laced comments like a sponge :D
As promised, a few screens of development so far to whet your appetites: [ATTACH] [ATTACH] [ATTACH] [ATTACH] [ATTACH] Loads more to do, but...
Such a shame. Wonder why it's so gated? Never mind, there's better out there.
Just a quick bump - if you want to see something in Train Simulator and you don't think it's ever going to be included, please let me know what...
Just a quick update for anyone interested in the ballast tamper (which shares some remarkable likenesses to a Plasser & Theurer 09-32 CSM), the...
From my own user experience. Critical minds are not welcome, I could dig out the thread here from a few weeks ago, but I feel it's a pointless...
The regulars love it and will beat down on anyone that disagrees without haste. Shame really, as train simming should be accessible to anyone...
Really looking forward to the next update for this route - any chance of a quick update Sam?
Yep, you should be good to go, if you are running it on a laptop, probably install the 1080p pack. The pack can be found here:...
Nightmare! And it's half term.
Eventually I'll get around to modelling a plethora of cab variants. How are you getting on with the Valenta pack Eric?
Heh, sometimes, it's coming along though and it's easy to get stuck in and totally lose track of time.
It's starting to take shape :) [ATTACH]
Eric, I'll pack it in a patch at some point in the near future and make it compatible with the default model as-is. It could be done manually,...
Personally, I stopped buying from the Dovetail store for this exact reason. Orders are processed in a very relaxed fashion. Just buy from Steam,...

It took ages to do all those rivets and screws properly. Every single one hand turned.
I'm not sure mate, not tried myself. Stands to reason that it should work. Let me know if you need a hand.
Already snapped it up, though I'm too busy working on the ballast tamper to be playing for a while.
It's a relatively safe bet that it's going to be brilliant.
250,000+ polygons and she still needs more: [MEDIA] I'll sleep when I'm dead :)
Thanks Jamie, much appreciated. It's based on a very popular 1980's ballast tamper, with examples that exist around the globe today. The units I...
To be fair, considering the insane amount of geometry, my rig handles this with no issues: [MEDIA] Still so much more to do :)
Perhaps, but I'm more inclined to believe that TSW2's strength is in being a cash cow for the console market, and with the next gen looming,...
I'm interested in the idea of a conversion tool to upgrade routes. This is an idea worth exploring. Maybe even worth exploring with AI.
