This was just added with todays updates: Change #M:4163962116568668383 · Train Sim World 2 - DLC 51 (1664930) Depot · DepotID: 1664930 · SteamDB...
Were these the bugs that needed fixing? ...The train washer wasn't working and was modelled incorrectly. :)
Dirty Diesel with whistling turbos :)
Don't forget that you can use the 'Off the rails' option and still enjoy a nice looking route while having fun with say a BR Class 66 ;)
Don't forget to check out the link in my signature 'Routes & Locos' to see what locos layer onto which routes assuming you own them. Also, if you...
Added the Class 313/2 SN loco to 'East Coastway' and layer in London Commuter.
What has this thread turned into? Everyone is unique. Take what you like and ignore the rest. We're all human!
I agree to having streams much earlier than a set release date. Yes, we are all still 'beta' testers, but it would give much more time to correct...
Check my sig for routes and locos. If you know your freight locos, you can find which routes will have freight timetables or at least scnearios.
Let's not point the finger at DTG for pulling the plug on it's release, it could be Rivet's decision as the developer to 'polish' the route before...
Try temporarily renaming or moving the folder: C:\Users\USERNAME\Documents\My Games\TrainSimWorld2 and then re-run the game. Maybe you have...
Isn't there an option in one of the .ini files to adjust default viewing position?
Have you tried re-installing the actual Steam client? This sounds more like where your problem lies, rather than with the actual TSW2 game files....
This is the reason I like to leave the distance marker and top left hud on.
Is it still " -dx12" to enable it? My PC is 11 years old but has a new RTX3060 with 12GB of RAM so I'm hoping this will help more than with...
Yes. After the stream I felt positive about honest updates coming soon. We shall have to wait and see :)
I've already proved it runs on a potato. Crashes and stuttering are apparent across all PC and console specs. I'm trying to test whether or not...
Windows normally manages it from the size of your RAM to 2xRAM, but a fixed size is recommended to help with drive fragmentation. A fixed size is...
What happened to your usual high quality? EDIT: It was originally only in potato cam mode. Now it's in 1080p. Weird.
Yes. The swap file is used to decompress the 'huge' pak file during gameplay. You will see your HDD light on during these stutters. By having a...
You need a different drive to the game though. That wasn't specified. Also, windows uses a manged size by default. A fixed size is better.
Try what I did, it's helped me with stuttering: Set your virtual RAM (Swap file) to a fixed file size of 1.5 * RAM and put it on a fast SSD...
Apparently, sounds were there, but only when stood up in the cab :)
With the addition of the 1938 Stock and timetable, there is now no train information, or title heading for the original 1972 timetable button....
I think thattraindude is just spamming based on another old post that was just locked by DTG_Nat
...and more bug fixes released yesterday, so DTG are 'upping their game' when it comes to listening to it's customers, albeit Rush Hour was a mess.
Added the BR187 DB and 1938 Heritage Tube Stock locos and layers to the route list.
I didn't know this, so apologies to anyone who can't apply with what others may have as decals, etc. However, I'm a PC user and only have access...
BML = LBN ;) EDIT: or at least that's what my Steam account shows. Thx to a user for pointing that out - you know who you are.
Some of us aren't 'DTG veterans' like yourself. We are slowly learning how much 'wool' is being pulled over our eyes ;)
Well I think you've got it covered there! Just a tip...cap your in game framerate to whatever your monitor refresh rate is (settings in game)....
London Commuter was admitted that it reached us late after the 'summer' months, but we now also have no 'Rush Hour' passengers. That's a double fail.
I've got all my Mastery awards enabled ie Overlays, but yet I only have access to the Cathcart 'UFO' decals available. Any ideas where I'm going...
The Colonel has been playing with trains recently, so maybe Sam is ready for some more shenanigans on TSW2? :)
All locos now have a Steam page link for further information.
Pretty light show at Battersea: [img] [img] [img] [img] [img]
Added new London route and loco info.
They re-compressed dresden from 15GB to 6.61GB and re-uploaded London which is now 6.44GB ...if only DTG could get things right the first time ;)
Yeah, a second update is now downloading. Looks like they are fixing the file sizes.
The 'patch' (compressed) download was about 4GB, however, the actual .PAK file is over 15.5GB. I think DTG have gone back to the less compressed...
Has compression been reduced with the addition of the Meissen branch to help with stuttering/crashes? It's now 17.6 GB!
It's not just about H/W specs. People are not factoring in 'layers'. As in if you own other routes and locos as to what 'additional' things are...
I'd just like to thank Joe for showing his huge knowledge of the route during the live stream. Asking Matt on several occasions to go to platform...
If I understand your post correctly, I think all routes are unique and are not joined to any other in any way. As for Services, I'm not sure...
Finished adding route acronyms and added Steam store page links. I might add links to locos later.
Hey, as I said, I opened a can of worms. My bad. I'll just apologise for anything I said that could be misconstrued. Lets all move on. x
Exactly. Which takes us back to my post on this ;) BTW, I'm from NW England. Sorry for opening a can of worms here.
Oh, IC now. I've never paid attention to steam nonsense. :) Thanks guys!
That wasn't meant as a comparison. I'm pointing out what people are capable of doing if they take the time to research their avenues.
You have heard of people getting £1000's in compensation from the police just because they searched them under the terrorism act though? I'm just...
