How about the "Officials' Express"? Namely, the ICE from Bonn to Berlin, plus the old line via Magdeburg in case the Hannover-Berlin Highspeed...
My downvote is not meant to imply I wouldn't enjoy more rolling stock for that route, given the route is any good to begin with. We'll see after...
I should add, "Hence the long wait for the wait for the editor" is a theory of my own. Not entirely baseless but speculation nonetheless.
Well sort of. I remember them stating somewhere that route building for TSW takes much longer than they had planned and anticipated. Speculation:...
Funny how people keep saying more old routes, goddammit! Not so funny how I feel the need to remind people that 3 out of 4 British TSW route are...
Buy a PC. ;)
That debriefing screen though! Yay! That looks very much like a step in the right di.... no wait that means I must drive safe now... oh dear......
Thread hijacking anyone?
Thanks! Not necessarily though, at least fleet-wise DTG did the same with RSN, the last DB (passenger) train on the real route is a few years ago...
OK, so you don't associate the 112 with the RE7, fair enough, but that doesn't change the fact it was used there for many years. Google has enough...
That second photo is from 2014, it's not that long ago. Are you sure that 111 wasn't running on RE4?
When RE7 still was operated by DB, they still were. ;) Today the route is run by National Express, which would require a new license as far as...
Route: Great Western Express Train: N/A
Yes! You should apply to become a prophet ;) No heavy rail in TSW though? LIRR begs to differ!
Moin, Again a suggestion from the waters just outside my home port... station, I mean: We've seen Hagen in TSW already, but this route for the...
Not necessarily, it was developed by a third party developer, Thompson Interactive namely. *coughcough*Editorplease*coughcough*
Considering the latest release for TS2019, I think Southampton to Netley is the most likely scenario :D [/sarcasm]
Would be nice to get a remake of that TS route. That always was one of my favourite ones. I hope it comes with a class 170 again. That sound!
Frankly, I think this is less of an old vs new question, but rather one about variety. 2 out of 4 British routes are historic, and out of the 2...
That's how it used to be, I think they changed it because it meant too often the winner was just one of the first submissions. Longer time online,...
Very nice suggestion. The S8/S1 Wiesbaden-Mainz-Airport-Frankfurt-Offenbach-Hanau would be awesome as well. Also don't forget about the ET420.
Hunting collectibles perhaps?
That wasn't quite what I had in mind actually, but it seems I mininterpreted what I read it anyway.
Matter of taste, ain't it? However, with three out of four british routes being in a historic setting I think it's high time us youngtimers get...
Moin, The LINT is a family of diesel multiple units which is being manufactured since the late 90s by Alstom, and is used on branchlines and...
That journey mode ("start on ANY route") sounds a bit like the seamless transition from one route to another (e.g. NEC to LIRR or vice versa) we...
I see what you mean but really, it's been like that on TS19 for ages. New features are free for all, plus usually a new route to buy. :)
So that's what you've been working on in secrecy recently! Looking forward to learning more about the details!
That review seems pretty accurate to me indeed. Or as I like to put it, I've fallen in love with the idea, the concept behind TSW. Now let's make...
I'm not even sure how much a license covering TS20xx is worth for TSW. In case of doubt it probably depends on the individual contract made with...
Moin, Scotland would be a nice place for TSW to exand to. Why? Because Scotland. And this particular piece of its rail network would certainly...
I'm with the master race.
Fair enough, we can get the same result with one click or two each time we cross the channel/the pond after all.
Route: West Somerset Railway Train: BR Class 47
Maybe they could pull an Armstrong Powerhouse - release the locos unbranded by default, and offer a patch for the logos etc. for free, thus (in a...
*143s. The 103 for TSW would be a dream come true :D
This screenshot has already received a bit of fame on Twitter and in the forums, but why not recycle it here? I couldn't find any rule stating...
Very well said. Sometimes I think what would help is, for lack of a better word, an adult section here in the forums, where us grown-ups can talk...
I'd like an option to set the units based on the route. So when you drive in the UK/US it's all in miles, and km/h in Germany and wherever else...
Easily one of my favourite DLCs. I just love the M7's hyper-precise throttle/brake controls.
I wouldn't mind either, but with all due respect, that has nothing to do with the topic at hand here.
Addendum: If I were to suggest a class 66 for Germany, it would be one of RheinCargo, based in Brühl near Cologne, and active in many parts of the...
DB doesn't run any class 66 in Germany though, only some private companies do. Also there are some important differences in detail on German 66s....
Well in other games they are called repaints, or reskins sometimes. - Adding a new paint scheme to the game.
Moin, UK, US, Germany.. all fair and good, but other countries have awesome rail lines and assortments of rolling stock too. Like Italy. And this...
That's all I have by the way, so I you want to tweet any now's the time. Maybe I'll take a look at the other stations on one of the next tours.
Now let's compare a few: [IMG] ----- [IMG] ----- Pretty close I'd say :)
I think the only way that's really feasible would be discounts rather than genuine exclusive content. That content still needs to be produced,...
All over Germany's state of NRW pretty much, with a focus on the Cologne region where I live. Because after all, even the longest journey begins...
Thanks, glad you like them! And WiSchmo's guess was spot on! I have a few more from another stop or two on the line coming, and also I was going...
