Fair enough; Niddertalbahn did set a standard for sure.
I would agree with those who advise caution - just from past experience with Routes upon release. However, if this Route is as good as it looks,...
Dresden and LGV are traditionally the most stuttery for me; I have not tried them yet but on several other Routes it seems noticeably smoother.
I still get the micros, but they are very quick and there are no freezes or long periods of stutter. If it is fixed at the core level, that is huge.
I have not had much stutter lately, at all. What is going on? Dare I dream it is fixed? TSW4/PC/Steam/Ryzen7/RTX3060
It's the 2-up challenge

Shadows, shaders, and probably a lot of other UE elements as well. I had just got my shadow bubble out to an acceptable distance when Linke...
I concur, any "r.streaming..." settings were burning up my RTX3060 without any noticeable benefit. Removing them actually improved things.
It's on because of the stock available and the layers
HAHA You're not alone, I didn't realize that either until reading this post. Played since 2017 lol
Thanks! A lot of the YouTube videos I've seen must have been older, because there was no English at all and that was somewhat intimidating.
Right; thank you
Maybe someone can come up with an English translation of at least the cab controls and interface?
I brought it up in Forums when shortly after TSW3 released that we in the US were paying about 20% more for new content - first it was blamed on...
The Roadmap article mentions specific fixes to TSW3. Do you believe those will come, and if they do, will they be good or bad for TSW3 ?
It's California - don't ask haha
Sorry, it is not. 9.99 GBP is 12.26 USD today; not 14.99 USD (the price quoted for the Rivet gameplay packs).
I notice from the prices quoted in the Roadmap article that we in the US are still paying about 20% more over against UK players; this has been...
You mentioned these on 28 Oct. Are any of them fixed?
What about fans in laptops? To me it is a piercing sound in my head.
I must admit I was one of these ... when I ran into something broken in TSW4 I went straight back to 3 where it works. I didn't buy TSW4 for a...
Thought it would prove I'm also not a teenager haha
Figured it out on my own; it was a RailDriver issue.
No mods! Fresh installation of TSW4-compatible GWE Route. Verifying files now, this takes about 90 minutes. Thanks for responses!
I'm not sure RailDriver would be capable of inverting controls - unless possibly there would be a loco-specific calibration. However, RailDriver...
One is 2P35 Reading to London, another is 2R27 out of Paddington, there was one other out of Paddington that I can't remember.
Apologies if this has already been reported; but on some GWE services the throttle on the 166 does not engage. It moves but there is no...
Plettenberg on Ruhr-Sieg Nord has a tree on siding where leaves are falling.
Very confusing on which update was which and what the changelog actually is. 10 GB or more of update, something must have improved something. I've...
YouTube uses an awful kind of sound compression like that of modern sound production studios where everything in an audio recording is the same...
Someone PUMPED up the volume on that sprinkler. I'll get my coat.
Midland Main Line - RailDriver light switch does not work on Class 158. Not sure how widespread this is, the service is 2K29 Matlock - Newark Castle.
I have to say I do enjoy the ambient sounds on ECML - birds, dogs, and whatever that is crashing in the woods! On the shorter depot services it...
Happy Birthday! I was "6" "1" one month before TSW4 launched, so let's see next year haha
Yes, mine was - 3.7 GB one day and then 6.3 GB more the next day. PC/Steam/Ryzen7/RTX3060
You realize with your spoiler you now have the standard machine and we'll all be expecting regular reports haha PC/Steam/Ryzen7/RTX3060
You know we can ! :)
Ran a 141 Amtrak service on full timetable; no issues in NY Penn Station. A little stuttering outside the tunnel and crossing into Jersey.
