Same here. I don’t drive with the signal HUD on and found it very hard to distinguish between the colour of the signal aspects with their default...
Thanks for the response. Hopefully the team will get some spare time to add it to the game - quite a few players seem quite keen on it, as you can...
(DTG JD DTG Matt Poke. Just in case you haven’t see this thread)
This is why I made my signalling mods - in Rivet's latest video, you can see the signals have awful viewing angles, with some of the signals...
Thanks. I too love the way it looks, as the light from the LEDs glows onto the unlit LEDs. It makes it look more 3D like.
I don’t think the devs check the forums on the weekends but hopefully tomorrow they’ll see it.
I think the issue is the signal colours and intensity of them on all routes have been untouched for a very long time. This has been made worse by...
Hi. If this route gets upgraded to TSW 3 lighting standards, then I’ll possibly consider re-making this mod again. Thanks.
Appreciate the comments guys :)
Thanks for the comments :) I may apply it to SEHS and possibly BML IF the latter route gets upgraded to TSW 3 lighting. I can’t do anything to...
I would’ve thought they’d see this thread themselves. I don’t want to unnecessarily tag them.
Another issue I found with the stock signals is that they have an awful flickering issue when viewed from a distance. My mod fixes this problem...
I agree. I had a particularly hard time distinguishing yellow from red so I decided to just fix it myself. Glad you enjoy them. Look out for an...
Absolutely. For a console player like yourself, it’d be great if you could benefit from this improvement as well.
Isaak theorganist Thanks for the comments guys. This is one of the first changes I make to routes. I’ve also adjusted the material of inside of...
Yes. The middle screenshot really is supposed to be red! I was really surprised at this and initially thought it was a yellow aspect because of...
One of the big issues is that the signals themselves haven’t been set up to TSW 3 lighting standards. They remain at TSW 2 settings. This causes...
I agree. The actual flare of the signals needs to be vastly improved too in my opinion. The current one looks so poor. It looks like something out...
Thanks for the feedback :) Just to clarify, did you download the revised signal colours mod too? I uploaded that separately, after I uploaded the...
(DTG, you can use it. Just DM me for details) I’m quite disappointed that TSW 3 routes still use the extremely poor looking signal aspects for...
The pantograph head looks fine to me? [ATTACH] They've somehow managed to use the complete wrong OLE portals too for the yards, the entire line...
Hey Jasper_Rivet I don’t think this OLE support should be floating like that ;) Think this was from Falkirk High. [ATTACH]
Just to clarify a few things: - The Class 385 is the only train to travel from end to end on this route (obviously you get other trains on part...
No, it didn’t. The 314 is simply for ‘fun’ and is to represent a fictional Rail tour service.
It was a sarcastic comment. The whole train has green PIS text throughout the interior.
I think Rivet were slightly mistaken - the ones made public by ScotRail are station announcements, not onboard train announcements. The ones...
I might be able to mod in a more realistic voice, if you’re on PC.
I believe within the last year or so and I believe it is still the case today. So no GWR branding on new routes.
First Great Western is not permitted to be used in TSW. GWR didn’t want their ‘old’ branding in game. That’s why it was included in the files but...
This may become a bit of an issue when driving in adverse weather, where you physically cannot depart and brake harshly. Though I don't see this...
The biggest giveaway with automated timings is the seconds it asks you to depart at. It'll be random, like 14:30:42 or 09:00:13. Manual/real life...
Wow, just wow. Just watched Rivet’s new video and they have a bundle of new features for both the route and train. These include: - Neutral...
I suppose they may be ‘busy’ with other things, such as trying to run a real life operational railway. I heard the original person, who was...
I’m not sure how this is relevant to the game but surely getting the details right is a good thing, no? It might not seem like a big deal but...
Regarding anything which includes Great Western Railway branding, I’ve heard they’ve pretty much blanked DTG in terms of letting them use their...
Nope as they never ran on this line. That would be highly unrealistic. Electrification on this line is NEW and was previously worked by 158s and...
Just some more feedback guys: Edinburgh Waverley: It looks like the platform end lights are missing. None are seen here in the video. Could you...
Thank you for acknowledging this thread and it’s constructive feedback Jasper_Rivet I’ve noticed in the latest video, the incorrect OLE portals...
I haven’t watched this stream. What was actually said, may I ask?
The scene over Edinburgh Waverley at night. At least Rivet made an effort to make it look decent. Now compare this to Birmingham and it’s...
Is this why when, say, 319s get dragged, you can still hear the motors, despite it being unpowered?
The Class 380s are quite a few years older and were built by Siemens from 2009 and 2011. The 385s were built by Hitachi between 2015 and 2019.
We don’t even have those trains in TSW. If you meant in the future, then possibly so.
They need to sort the anti-aliasing out before adding any of this fancy stuff. Still far too much flickering going on for my liking.
Hey Jasper_Rivet any chance you can make a last minute change with these OLE portals? For some reason, you guys placed old 1970s style portals...
The reason it looks so flat is because there’s no ambient occlusion. Hopefully this is a WIP shot and they’ll add it in before release.
What did he say in the stream?
For this route, 90% of it uses Series 2 Single Track Cantilevers. Twin Track Cantilevers and portals. Most of the screenshots show Rivet having...
*puts tin-foil hat on* So we know that this route will contain two types of trains - one is diesel-electric and the other is diesel-hydraulic....
Not for a long time now. Its Class 195 and 156 operated now.
Separate names with a comma.
