And just like previous years, US routes don't stand any chance due to the onslaught of decent 1st party UK/DE routes and excellent 3rd party...
Well, DTG burned their bridge with SS long time ago, that ship has long sailed.
Im wondering if the timetable will take into account the time period, as the route is set in modern times, but pre-2008 the 3rd track on Cajon...
Yeah, they state they will include various road specific features, but seeing them modeled will be the real treat.... A CSX C40-8W on comparison...
So the rolling stock.... The Grain Hopper seems to be based off of the GA-180 hoppers, 3 bays build by Pullman Standard in the early 70's...
So, now we have conformation of the packs content. The C40-8W and SD40-2 are the only locos for the pack. Only 3 new rolling stock will be...
Outside of the Metrolink F59PHR, these announcements have done nothing to excite me for the new year.....
However, Simrail's US freight offering is being headed by Searchlight Simulations, so its quality would be way higher that most releases currently...
1. Suggestions thread 2. More details
I doubt it, while there has been some discussion on US freight as a whole on TSW, I doubt DTG would make that a big announcement, given how the...
Pretty straight forward voting here.... Group A -MBTA Commuter Obviously the newest route is here, but it is probably one of the better US routes...
Topic title makes me think the OP thinks that the TSW players are jokes.
A bit rude to the TSW community dont you think?
And it all goes back to Clinchfield back in the TSW2 days being the worst selling route at the time, so DTG pretty much axed older US content.
Feel like Run 8 doesn't count as they are developing the sim as well as the content. So they obviously aren't gonna jump ship from their own base sim.
I though its more just general announcement/discussion of any and all US projects.

I'm only 20 minutes into SP's video and my god, how does some of this pass QA? -Model Clipping on the FT nose. -FT B unit has 2 EXHAUST PORTS on...
Busy on either Trainz, TSC or Simrail
Peninsula corridor is due for a paid remaster like LIRR 2.0, but I dont see any US route getting a free update aside from Matt's Clinchfield side...
The F59PHR one is based on an older christmas train from the mid 2010's. The one DTG made, is based on the one Metrolink brought back last year,...
Then.... Is it no longer a train simulator? Just a Train game? You can't advertise as something being realistic, and not at least trying to make...
Will say quality wise, as far as US content is concerned, DTG has been improving that over on TSW, vs the payware content that still comes out on...
Its gonna be something for the European/UK crowd.....
Thing is with HIS, they keep making alot of mistakes and errors that they really shouldn't be making this far into the game. They've peaked at...
They still had to "guess" the route and service because you lack the info from the get go. Dont make people here play 20 questions.
I think we need to start unpinning some of these older articles, and why isnt this one pinned?
Are you using Internet Explorer? The BNSF issue was solved YEARS ago.....
Sorry but if you aren't gonna give more details into your issues, there is nothing we can do to help you.
So, we still don't see any type of livelihood in the route screenshots, no traffic, no pedestrians/passengers. Also I think some of these photos...

[ATTACH] Route: Antelope Valley Line: Los Angeles - Lancaster Locomotives: EMD SD70ACe, GE AC4400CW
I would like to be excited for something in the future, but outside of any new screenshots from Union Workshop, Im not seeing it. -The EMD F59PHR...
Same as 2023, here is someone's video of it at Anaheim a few days ago. [MEDIA]
So, pretty much a hybrid of old and new. Lights from the older train, but on the newer rolling stock. [ATTACH] [ATTACH]
The F59PHI has more horsepower (3200 vs 3000) and different gearing (110 vs 80ish) so DTG would still need more research if the simugraph needs to...
The only passenger based one we are missing is the older white livery Bombardiers, everything else is MOW equipment like their caboose. [ATTACH]...
They do not, the MBTA owns a GP40MC, which were former GP40-2LW's originally owned by Canadian National, rebuilt by AMF (Which is now owned by...
Guess something must of changed recently, or Metrolink is just down on usable power. Someone somehow caught all 5 current active ones on one day...
You know, comments like this don't really help.

Also, fun fact. Its been just over 10 years since the TSC version of "Metrolinks" F59PH has been released. (Sep 18, 2014) [ATTACH]
Why? Because its something YOU DONT LIKE? Guess what? This game doesn't revolve around YOU! Nice to see the last piece of Metrolink's puzzle...
This is actually not part of the gameplay pack, but a loco DLC for a later date. [ATTACH]

Only info I could find is from the TSC version, which lists only 82mph or about 132km/h
IIRC, DTG had plans with Union Pacific before Covid shut down that trip, and nothing has come since. Also, DTG could really just focus on GEVO's...
Remember when Sherman Hill had functional cab signals? Pepperidge Farm remembers. EDIT: Also on the topic of US freight, if DTG wants to do...
