It makes no sense for them not to do an editor. The players want it and will lose interest without and third party devs want it. Dovetail will get...
I'd love to see that. I travelled on the line earlier this year and it's very busy.
Yes but buildings are lit up at night. In TSW they're not.
Completely agree. I’ve begun to worry that we’ll never see an editor which would be a tragedy and could well be the downfall of the game.
Sure but there’s been a ton of modern stuff in TS and I’d sooner have routes with a full compliment of stock than a new modern route with only one...
Not so sure about the lack of desire for an 80’s version of it over a modern day one. At least the trains were real then unlike the unit railway...
Love MSB so any extension to it would be awesome.
An early 80’s version would be a logical era for this given we already have 40’s, 45’s and 47’s in game. Wasn’t unheard of for 33’s to work it too.
A blue 47 wouldn’t of looked out of place in Teeside in 1989 either.
I suggested that a while ago. Not too far, busy and a good variety of traffic. It would be awesome if it went to the docks at Seaforth as well
I’m really hoping the branch to Boulby is included. It’s absolutely stunning with a climb up and down the coast and has Skinningrove Steel Works...
Massively excited but there should be more liveries on the 37 as there were at that time and the 47 from NTP should be in it too.
37/5's didn't exist in 1983, they had yet to be converted from 37/0's and the livery is from October 87 onwards.
Class 40’s were long gone by 1989.
There won’t be poor sales as this is one of the most popular eras. Each to their own I’ve zero interest in modern stuff. It’s just a unit Railway....
A 37 is essential for this era. They were pretty much on everything. 56's were about but not based at Thornaby and 60's were still being built.
Hoping this is set in the 80’s. Far more freight traffic than there is now. Could be interesting.
Driver error, not a bug.
Hopefully, asset management will be improved.
I think the editor will become a huge income stream in time as a lot of people haven't bought into TSW yet because of the lack of one.
Yes thank you I do and if I wish to make any particular point I will and already have and that's my prerogative thank you very much.
I thought a lot of what he said was nonsense personally but each to their own.
It seems on every route that the vast majority of buildings have no lights on at all during darkness. They do in TS as textures have been provided...
Thanks
Stunning! How on earth do you reskin them?
This is a much better situation than we’ve had with TS and new services are available in certain routes. Buy a loco add-on for TS and the only way...
Same for me and I've done the tutorial and all 3 scenarios
This is an odd issue. Barely any buildings on any routes have night time textures on them. They're in TS. Why not in TSW?
Hi Dimitri, Steps to recreate the issue: 1. Enter a scenario or service for the 182 2. Set up train as normal 3. Turn on AFB 4. Release brakes...
Yep that’s exactly what happens to me
There may be an element of truth in what he says with regard to DTG developed routes but I fully expect that TSW like its predecessor will only...
If you turn the AFB on in the 182 it activates a brake preventing you from accelerating until you hit 70% power and then prevents the train from...
Try it in the scenarios or service mode with AFB on.
They're absolutely awful and were only meant as a temporary stop-gap. Awful, awful train.
I hope they will also put the track into Leipzig HBF (Main Station). More scenario scope then.
Like the look of this. Excellent suggestion.
I doubt it will happen until maybe we see another route that features the 166.
Absolutely zero need to be rude.
Search YouTube for 'cab rides'. There are loads.
Thanks so much for taking your time to do this and share it with the community
You know this as a fact or is it just your opinion?
Incorrect. In real life, the guard buzzes the driver to let the driver know that it is safe to depart. Not the other way around.
This highlights the need for more advanced tutorials given the increased complexity of the locos in TSW compared to TS (which is definitely a good...
It's very disappointing now given that they teased us with a preview 3 months ago.
If it wasn't for DTG those 3rd parties wouldn't exist either but I agree with your comment.
If it wasn't for DTG TSW wouldn't exist.
One thing that hasn't changed, Manchester is still a horrible place.
You're correct but in my experience of night time cab rides of which there have been many it most certainly isn't pitch black as it is in TSW.
Buy TSW. It will run better and is a far better experience
Or Leicester to New Street
