The seats while not being good are better than sitting on an iron bar as you do in an IET now that what little padding there was has gone.
I hope they fix the pathing in free roam which never seems to work on this route for whatever reason.
There is a Western railtour on for the route, ‘Western Pilgrim’ which ran in reality in 2002.
They didn’t, they were all gone by about 2020.
Why would it be Dutch instead of German?, there are Dutch and German units in the leak.
I would say it is, the timetable is good, the 111 services are good fun and i enjoy using a 218 on it in free roam.
They would fit perfectly on Niddertalbahn.
Y Yes to any of them!
There is one there in real life, it is used for shunting various things around the depot. It’s 08498 i believe.
I’d love to have 211s in the game.
If you wanted a properly rancid overnight look no further than the Kent overnights. Often there would be a steam heat only GUV behind the crompton...
Fair enough, although there is one most weekends unless a hymek is out.
Seeing a 33 is, what isn’t realistic is not having maroon stock on the diesel timetable.
Yes please
It’s Grosmont not Goathland.
To have it on Shap it would be far more realistic to have an 85 or 81 with it.
It came in the update, it is to do with the 194 DLC on Linke.
There is reasonably often a relief on the marches and in other places in the country, often for rugby or football but also to strengthen the service.
Now that would be a route to have!
Brilliant route but to have cromptons which it absolutely should it would need to be in between 1981 and 1988.
If it was the early 90s we could even get a 215 for it.
Or have Fridriechshafen - Singen which is far more scenic and a proper run for 218s.
Would be even better in it’s diesel days imo!
44009.
Athena said they were doing something to them.
Oooo yes! As long as it’s the 220s with maybachs.
DB 218s are often known as rabbits.
They could only work on the Woodhead line and would be impossible to work on any other line as they are DC not AC. But a Manchester to Sheffield...
Very true.
Even better! Unfortunately i doubt it as it is a 108 miles long or something around that.
That would be amazing. Especially if we got a route like Southampton - Weymouth to go with them.
They can.
And all german routes.
But they are dual braked blue mk1s which fill a massive gap in BR rolling stock.
Most old electrics built then are like that.
That game is a beast.
Would be much better if it was Lindau - Kempten - Oberstdorf.
You can’t multi through mk2s so it shouldn’t power.
Bit more work for the 44 given the different noise.
That would be absolutelly hellfire mate

All ready had a look on there. Unfortunatetly no record of a tour to Edinburgh with a duff in the summer of 92/3/4
It could possibly be 1Z33 ‘The Capital Express’ Worcester - Edinburgh as this was worked at least one way by 47773 on the 06/08/94.
56s were and are used in pairs all the time on freights.
Whilst i don’t think it was ever booked, they regularily worked in pairs down the midland main line right up to when they finished.
They were in the sixties. https://flic.kr/p/24peZ52
They were built with multi for double heading on the west coast butbit was removed very early and since then they have not been able to work in...
That would be hellfire, and rats would be logical as one of the last two places they were allocated in 1986 was Kingmoor.
