it would be great I've never driven the class 52 and 33 above 25mph
I can't see the point
Fair enough, I have no idea having never driven one but if its accurate then why was DTG trying to fix it as its the same as it was before
Jesus DTG talk about shooting yourself in the foot
hmmm the HST still took 16 miles to reach 125mph leaving Paddington. I can tell the brakes have altered on the Eastcoastway DMU, gonna have to...
I have no real beef with the route, I'm no rivet counter and don't know the area. My real beef is the game engine. I have 2000 hours of TS2021 and...
agreed
On GWE there are services that last 1 minute 30 seconds. Reading to Reading train depot
We all talk about the authenticity of ballest and fencing but the real killer for me is empty yards. without which there is absolutley no...
but yet here you are reading it. I could say some people are just easily pleased and can be sold anything, but i won't, free speach and all that
I have thought this for other routes. GWE springs to mind so does NTP and TVL There is simply no atmosphere with the yards looking so sterile. It...
I hope there easier to drive than the ones in train simulator, I could never get the hang of them
reminds me of Wham back in the 80's....I used to think if they released "Humptey Dumptey" it would get to number one, but I digress, apologies
I think you should take a look at this thread, makes my 2000 hrs seem like a noob https://forums.dovetailgames.com/threads/hours-played.28391/
I'd question that data, As Leadcatcher as said he as over 5000 hours playing time since 2013, that works out at 2hrs every day for 7 years. I...
you don't have to do anything. you can get the overlays here http://www.trainsim.cz/
The fact that this thread exists speaks volumes for the sim in its current format. The fact we need a list to find the interesting bits speaks for...
Why can't the HUD display the correct speed. GWE line states 60mph for freight yet the HUD shows 90mph. Is this error down to limitations in the...
Whilst I have some sympathy for you wanting more American content, USA as just had a re-ash of a TSW route, UK content lovers are in a similar...
All these questions all boil back to my question. Do DTG still think it was the right decision to use the Unreal engine for the sim, 5 years on
Knowing what you know now about the Unreal engine for train simulation. Would you still have picked it?
try here https://forums.dovetailgames.com/threads/raildriver-beta-button-templates.32554/#post-221598
It's just a way to gather lots of data on who's doing what on the game.
If DTG had been developing the Unreal engine for acouple of years I would be as happy as a pig in Sht, but this is after at least 5 years...
Stumbled accross these today and wondered if anyone had taken the plunge and if there anygood. Might have to purchase one as soon as DTG get there...
AT the end of the day people wouldn't be asking for such a thing if the Scenario editor did it's job
excuse my ignorance but what does the "Series-Parallel" selector do and when would you use it?
I think the unreal engine if fundementally wrong for the simulator. Yes it looks pretty but come on, the fact the DTG have failed to implement...
I have to agree with the original poster. As much as I like TSW2, the unreal engined version of the train simulator is getting on for 4 years old...
The scenario editor is nothing more than a service timetable editor which allows you to drive different loco's on the route. To call it anything...
Wow, thats 321 solid days playing all train simulators.....respect
Phew I'm not too bad 2000hr on Train simulator 607hr on TSW ( I was really suprised by that one, although the speed limit on WSR would account for...
Just intertested in how many hours fellow players have put into train simulator. I was suprised to see Steam tell me I've played 2000 hours. Wow...
I can't really list a route for TSW2 as I prefer to drive UK stuff and there's currently only 20 miles of track and 1 locomotive. From TSW I think...
Edited by DTG Natster - Removed as it is inappropriate please update yourself with the forum rules before posting again.
The 313 EMU will make 2 UK locomotives to use in TSW2 and even that is like a "squared off" tube train. Mind you there is only 20 miles of UK...
the Sim already has a simple mode. It starts up with all saftey features turned off. If you want expert mode then turn them all on
FGW, GWR HST & 166 GWR is TSW2 Hud and the 166 FGW is TSW Hud
excellent indeed[ATTACH] [ATTACH] [ATTACH]
I downloaded the preserved GWE route last night and noticed I could change livery on the Class 143 HST I tried this but I can not for the life of...
