Yep great job and please pass my messages on to the wonderful dev team behind the route. It’s a really lovely route
Yep this is going to be my most played route, especially with the new layers coming

Really loving the route a lot, thought it would be a boring high speed run but the variety is generally unmatched, a few more tweaks to the 801...
How do I run a 801 on voralberg
How do I run the azuma on free roam on electric routes
Because LGV is a highspeed run. Whether the forums want to accept it or not, high speed, long route intercity runs are what sells for strange...
Discourse about era is subjective, what we can all agree on though is that the route would be better with more than just a 801
It would be nice if it got made though, would be a Herculean task, but worth the effort
This. The route will go from a 7/10 to a 9/10 with an extension
The run sounds are entirely down to AP. How ap got away with electrostar sounds is beyond me
One thing I will give DTG credit for, is this game is showing potential to outclass TSW3
Gonna have one last run of TSW3 tonight and hang up the boots for TSW3
When/ or will the EMT layers be available for Series S users from launch
The route is good, I’m looking forward to it
Overall the route isn’t bad, azuma sounds are better than what I was expecting, PIS needs tweaking, and Scotsman is decent
Sad.
The route has a lot of potential though no word of a lie, it looks really good so far
Missing york was really a no brainer
Also DTG are purposely avoiding 91 related questions
The sounds seem good. But there’s a lot of questions I have, like why no York, and the cable connectors are annoying
Yeah true, but it doesn’t stop them from including some things to improve it e.g time, the stations the train will call at. Just minor things,...
Actually Carlisle to Manchester airport is 132 miles https://my.railmiles.me/mileage-engine/
ICE 1 on Dresden, ICE 3 on voralberg, IET on SEHS, and Edinburgh- Glasgow, HST on ECML, 395 on ECML
DTG need to start making more loco packs if they will only give on train routes.
Alright time for my burning questions 1. Why wasn’t the route originally planned to head through to York, as there’s only one station and it’s...
My honest opinion? TSW hasn’t hit its peak yet. The game could still very much peak higher than TSW2, if dovetail are willing to take more risks...
This thread has gone off the rails (all pun intended)
Sadly it’s the DTG flywheel at work > dripfeed a highly suggested route but intentionally miss important locations, been happening since TSW1 with...
Yeah, a York to Leeds or West Yorkshire commuter onto the airdale and wharfdale lines
Same - anything TPE and I’m sold
Thank you, I would also love special liveries in the game, I wouldn’t mind paying either
Ironically a 4090 would still stutter on train sim. Shows you how poorly optimised the game actually is. There are games more performance heavy...
Actually more than a couple, I’ve heard it a lot from people like Trainspotter from Tauranga, TrainGuy4, that schnauz guy and a bunch of forum...
GTA 5… which is a way better optimised game than train simulator
[EDIT - Jan - Quarrelsome]
Western Mainlines but in TSW. Starting from Swansea, and it gets extended occasionally
Definitely. Or we get the route extended to Newcastle
I do hope we get the current ECML southward so we get more of a network
Ah ok. At least if the correct font is out the equation what about the destination, next station and calling points on the PIS
I mean if we could get the font of the 395, I wouldn’t rule out getting it for the 801
It’s such a good route, I would love it to merge with Doncaster to Peterborough to make it a mega route
Yeah, it would be great with the high level bridge in use, as well as the occasional diversions via the Durham coast
I noticed it from the og ep. Which I did call out AP for. I’m bothered about acceleration sounds though.
I think hitachi owns the font no?
The DTG flywheel is at work
A big dealbreaker is the sounds
I love it so much as well as the area around Doncaster and the Leeds line
Just the variety, commuters, high speed, semi fast services, the depots, London, it’s such a nice experience. Probably the highest amount of...
The reason why I love posh to cross so much is the section between London and Stevenage, I absolutely love it so much
Separate names with a comma.
