Well, didn't we got a new TSW in September last year too? Oh and TSW3 and TSW4 are also released in September btw.
The Pfälzische Ludwigsbahn looks scenic to me from what I get from youtube vids. However the included trains are recycled from older routes, so...
Not to defend DTG in any way or form, but I played Snowrunner on release at PS4 and it crashes a lot. Shortly after release it was Playstation...
I named Koln - Aachen already, but SKA comes by default without freight and also has not the by OP required TOD4. To have freight you need...
I know, but the error message is saying the user have to check the required video memory, on console....
Maybe DTG can provide you with a new graphics card with enough memory on your Series X ;)
On my local games news website, I saw a news article about the upcoming TSW6. I never see any news post about an upcoming DLC or update for TSW....
That's a good point, maybe we can make a poll if this is correct or not ;)
If the game crashes almost on the end of a service, it's not really satisfying and this will result in playing less often. I do still own TSW2...
The main issue with releasing a game every year, is that there is now no game without issues. Older bugs are fixed in some of the newer games, but...
There is nothing wrong with having dreams ;)
If I'm correct, RDR2 also uses TAA, so that explains.
Thanks for the explanation Matt. I can totally understand downscaling a 4K image to 1080P gives better picture bacause then a render at native...
I can imagine that, I'm playing on a FHD monitor and it's already awfull. It's like 720P or lower with no AA.
Let me guess, you played in HD mode on Series S and now on 4K mode on Series X? The HD mode actually screems for improvement and I really hope...
I almost never play at night, but I believe Riesa - Dresden was praised for it's night lighting. I'm not sure if this was only before the remaster...
Thanks for the clarification, always interesting to read some more info about the stuff hapening in the background. The memory leak is so epic, so...
I'm playing on Xbox Series S and lately I compared some TSW2 routes in TSW2 and TSW5. In TSW5, the old routes run better, less stutters and a...
You requirement of TOD4 lighting makes it much harder. The better freight routes are imo the old ones like RSN and MSB. For both routes you can...
You're right about that, those are added later too. But, GWE has already freight included in te route itself, so not really needed.
I would call Great Western Express fairly complete without layers. There is only one layer (for 1 train) added afterwards.
More real and less cartoony? Not really in my opinion, to me this is just a bad use of an orange filter.
On the last roadmap, there was a core optimization update for TSW5 mentioned, but also one for TSW6. Optimization updates are always welcome,...
The funny thing is, when I watch youtube vids of those older routes, they appear to be as dark as you discribe. However, when I play them myself,...
Is the lighting on those older routes changed when you play them in newer versions of the game? I played TSW and TSW2020 on a diffent platform, so...
I saw multiple posts about this on Reddit. Someone mentioned the PS4 version of the DLC's are dowloaded instead of the PS5 version. This looks...
Or is it perhaps called roadrails?
This looks really cool irl. It's really a shame this isn't released as part of the route, while it is modelled.
That means double trouble for you
I prefer to take my Volkswagen instead of driving with her
I would already be happy with a new timetable for those old routes. But we really need some other companies then DB and newer trains, like the...
From what I understood, it also can replace the BR363, but I don't have the red BR363 from RSN, as I don't own that route yet.
I think I have to buy RSN too, however the BR143 with 4th gen dostos is not realistic on both RSN and RRO, as far as I know.
I noticed it too the dostos are not driveable, weird. The HBF's are almost deserted. On tsw fandom.com wiki I see the service count is the other...
So RSN add the most services and with that, AI trains. When I drove the freight train, I only saw one 146 with dostos at the start, the rest of...
That one is also on my wishlist, but if RSN gives a lot more traffic on RRO, then I want to buy RSN first.
I've bought the route today and I have to say, I like it. The scenery is pretty good and scenic and the S-bahn services are fun. I also did a...
Right, but as far as I know they never pulled it of sales like CalTrain was, so it seems there was a different kind of agreement between GWR and DTG.
Did they unbrand the trains in GWE?
Wasn't the license for GWR also expired? They are still able to sell GWE, so atleast it seems to be they agreed something else.
In that case they also could have renewed the license, what didn't happen for some reason. Is it really not renewed because of their green image?...
I don't like companies who're trying to erase their history and pretent like they have always been the "good" guys. We had steam, diesel and now...
It seems everyone is positive about this route. That's really interesting about the branche line, you really wonder why they didn't add this when...
Do you ever think before typing something, or just wait until you know what you will get? I only see assumptions and conclusions based on nothing.
So besides the G6, I also need to.buy RSN and the 363 to take full benefit of this loco. My wishlist is gonna be big, time for a really big sale...
Good to know! There is something about those old routes, I think is's the atmosphere. I have it with HRR and MSB, but also see it in RRO, RT and RSN.
Thanks! Yes RT still interest me, however there is a derail on the S6 line, which is a major issue to me. RRO was also on my radar, mostly for the...
Thanks for the quick reply. So from what I understand, no major issues other then the timetable for the G6? I was thinking about getting G6 later...
Rapid Transit was on my wishlist, however after members pointed me on serveral unsolved issues with this route, I decided not to buy it, at least...
I noticed it's always at the end of a service and until now only on longer services. The last few days I've tested the Koln - Aachen New journeys...
