Riviera line set in the 90s
Set this route in the Intercity swallow/ Network South East Era when the 91s were fresh trains
Honestly speaking, i wish dtg set the Liverpool-Crewe route in the br electrics era (60s-70s) we could’ve gotten the first, second gens of...
I don’t like the Voyager/Meridian family i prefer the 800s. They’ve grown on me so much. My top 3 is probably (APT,390 and 800). But to stay on...
it’s a good route tbh, and it’s doable, not too many stations and it’s diesel

yeah i think it did
The Paxman Valenta was developed in the early 1970s for British Rail with the aim of using in both freight and passenger locomotives. However the...
those parts have high passenger numbers if i’m not mistaken
honestly, but then again the pressure of decarbonisation is on the government
beyond exeter is possible, but cost would be sky-high
that would be horrible :(
third rail is more for metro/ areas with high population density. if you want 140 on intercity lines , the lines will have to be electrified. i’m...

okay- look at my most recent suggestion- it’s an improvement of this, when i have time i’ll get round to editing this one
Third rail is impractical. and i said extend wires to exeter or to plymouth then have battery trains run the rest of the line to penzance
maybe if we are lucky we can get the thameslink portal to city thameslink

i agree, this is why the uk won’t move forward. they spend billions on war but chicken change on developing transport/ other amenities
it’s a busy line, there’s a lot of activity on it, to free up faster iets it should be electric so it covers slow and fast trains
it’s because i’ve already done this w my past thread
i’m gonna add a map to simplify this
https://forums.dovetailgames.com/threads/class-800-family.62131/ Class 800 suggestion
i’ve already given a background on the rolling stock, in the thread WHICH i quoted below.
it’s a good suggestion but look at my past ones, they cover most of the things mentioned...

yes it is , but because of the nature of the limits on bcc, i couldn’t get it to 125, and on gwe express the OHLE isn’t good enough for me to try...
i really agree, and it gives the game more life . tsw feels very dystopian
lmaooo, i agree. On a serious note i really wish they gave the gwr electrification programme the same energy as the ecml/wcml electrification...

oh oh oh, thanks for the clarification
they have because i tried to run a 387 on bcc and the pantograph did work, power was being taken, it’s just the third rail that’s a bit weird...
i’m so happy that 1960s architecture didn’t ruin any other terminii in london but it absolutely destroyed euston
how does it work then, because the pantograph works on the 387.
is the 47 in tsw?
