DTG are starting to talk about the word branch lines now...if you look at Clinchfield. So there is hope for the new projects that branchline...
Granted there is no realism of the environment, I will give you that.
theorganist its "fun" to drive the trains effectively without speed limits on a flat track? When on NTP/TVL you have the pesky 60 mph speed limits...
Talking of 95 mph in the 47, it doesnt quite make it for me I tend to get 93ish before needing to start to break to come in to Reading!
How can anyone complain about communication? Isnt there two members of staff at least 3 days a week for a couple of hours playing the game live...
I missed one single blinking passenger on the train...would they get off, I sat on them, beside them, I opened every single blinking door, nope.....
...so much easier without the blasted hills of NTP, its almost pleasurable, I forgot its easy to drive on TVL... But...in the scenario of...
Just out of interest...in snow does it do it as well?
Got dragged to the garden centre, but still got to watch a 800 heading to Penzance from Par due to engineering works.
Think you have got Par Newquay confused with St Erth- St Ives :) But yes your point still stands :)
Steam railtours only normally reach Par, as mentioned above St Blazey has the last remaining operational turntable in Cornwall since they did Long...
I am genuinely surprized that they didnt put the 57 in, yes its only two routes a "day/night" but you have the ability to drive it to Reading at...
Yes, this was said with my tongue firmly located within my cheek. Sorry that it didn't come across as such...please there should be no offence taken!
Yes please ! Cornwall > Pnz To ... | Dovetail Games Forums
Hmmm more of Truro station...not that anyone has asked. 150 heading up from Penzance heading off to Plymouth, meeting a 43 going the other way....
Is it a bug? Are maps not on both sides in reality?
I got 3/4 of the way through it on the xbox and then came to standstill nearly at the final station, could not get the train going again. I keep...
On GWE for example have the train held at Reading West- they frequently used to be- waiting for the Reading platform to clear?
Platform 0 is because of something to do with changing all the "paths" for trains and the signallers?
Its a strange on that mine...it only worked for a year or so, and I dont believe it was ever connected to the mainline. Further down the track at...
I know I promised to stop "spamming" the board, but as DTG started getting excited about Scotland, which is not Cornwall... I thought I better...
Err Cornish Mainline + a Branch or two :)
Just a pity we cant do the Heathrow Shuttle :(
Yes its in the Hoo yard. The train doesnt look happy, and definitely with just the plain normal 66!
SEHS....On the first of the Medway railway tours as you come in to the freight area the 66 train on your right at the buffers comes across all...
Err again pardon my ignorance, but the flashes of light...do they come from the ventilation shafts that will be dotted along the tunnels? Would...
I can also recommend when peeps come to Cornwall going to Lappa Valley to ride on the mini Deltic- The City of Derby. The track bed is part of the...
To be fair to them many of the scenarios do offer something slightly different. Closed lines, weather changing, or messing about with points, or...
Err think I may have said this once or twice Cornwall Mainline + a branch or two- pretty please :)
I know one of the German routes that they have got the branch line down to the docks, but there is no possibility of taking a passenger train down...
This comes back to my point, that I have said elsewhere on this board. Train Sim World, isnt creating a World Sim of Trains. Not to try and...
I dont think any of us want to be sitting in front of the screen for an hour waiting for an AI train to clear the track. But maybe 5-10 minutes... D
There is one journey out of Paddington that needs you to stop at a red for a freight train if you go too quickly... There is the scenario in LGV...
The first port of call would be an AI guard to at least interact with- closing doors, keeping doors open for a running passenger...
My personal view is that its actually where "Train Sim World" fails because they build and sell their product as lines, not worlds. GWE should...
The 43 "castle class" has taken over the majority of the mainline stopping service. But occasionally one sneaks through!
The 150's are currently alive and well in west Cornwall! (Photo taken on Saturday at Truro Station!)
I know I promised not spam the board with pictures again...I will try not too...honestly. Falmouth Train and a 5 car 800 heading to PZ from Truro...
Is the train coming to a complete stop...the fault we find when running the Bakerloo Line? i.e the train just randomly loses power?
Hi Wil66 please see the rather detailed thread on this very topic Cornwall > Pnz To ... | Dovetail Games Forums Got to bang the drum for Cornwall!
At least in an 08/09 you are only going 10-15mph with minimum visability....in the 20 you could be going a lot faster!
From my experience of hanging around Truro train station and Long Rock depot- I know the opposite end of the country- the barriers come down 4-5...
Even my child's "little red engine" book has them track welding :)
There are probably lots of cases. I just found them west bound outside Avignon
They are on the westbound track side, just hovering in mid air. Its quite freaky, the land falls away there, and clearly the asset the used wasnt...
