That's what I thought, just wasn't 100% sure. It was in yesterday's picture, too.
Brightening it shows the "Aschaffenburg Hbf" clearer and reveals a mystery freight car. Not sure if it's the same one from yesterday. [ATTACH]
Told you there would be a new one any minute now. Nothing new here. EDIT: actually, the headlight's slightly different, isn't it?
No, I meant the picture shown in this thread. There are no more hints, but there should be a new one literally any minute now.
I think you're thinking of TWINDEXX. TRAXX is a family of locomotives including the BR 146 shown in this picture.
Remember, the Class 33 and Class 101 had basically working analog versions of this. An electronic one doesn't seem that far-fetched to me.
This is just another route, they hint at these every time. Nothing new there. They're not hiding much anyway, there isn't much room for that.
Yeah, the sounds. I own both, the difference is more than just changes for the period. Anyway, that isn't the DLC in question here.
It wasn't that, really- it had new sounds, which has nothing to do with time period, and the preserved WSR version is technically earlier, with BR...
...ok, so these vent differences exist in real life as well, apparently. It looks like the rightmost coaches are what we have in RSN, and the...
Interesting... well, they still look like the same generation, so perhaps they just updated the model while they were at the PIS system. This...
Nah, they look like 4th gen coaches to me. Newer 5th gen TWINDEXX EMU's do run on this line, but they look like they have a different window...
I hope you're wrong too, lol. I think I remember them them actually saying this would be in all prior routes at some point, but I don't remember...
What about the Spessart Ramp? (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Spessart_Ramp?wprov=sfla1) It would have to be included in the route, meaning that...
Wow, nice! I was starting to suspect this, but I wasn't sure. You're totally right- it has to be Heigenbrucken. This also means that, like RSN,...
I guess the challenge now is to figure out what station this is with the curved platform like that...
Either the main-spessart or possibly (but less likely) the Rhine-main railway.
You have really good eyesight. I could only make out sch... something. Another sign is the platforms. There are no platforms in RSN like that....
New hint, in case anyone missed it: https://forums.dovetailgames.com/threads/hmmm.14945/
The area around Rostock doesn't look that hilly, according to Google Earth... hmm... Dovetail, you didn't trick us, did you?! Also, I think we'll...
It really looks like a DB BR 146 to me. The roof matches. [IMG] 145's are also freight only locos, I think, so it's not that. I think there's...
185's aren't used in passenger service.
Yep, that's a destination board! Knew it! Is that a 146? Also refreshing to know that freight will be included.
Yeah, but I can't think of a good, long enough route where it would make sense to drive both across the whole route. IDK, though, it might work.
I find it... interesting... that TrainSim-Dmitri has liked so many of these speculation posts... hmm. Some of the posts he has liked suggest a...
Yes... that's exactly what I said. I meant I wanted more examples of locomotives from one route being drivable on others.
My personal guess: Route: Rostock - Bad Kleinen Rolling Stock: - Talent 2 (mostly reused from RT, bit slightly different) - Taurus - Doppelstock...
Ah, looked up the Taurus cab a d it looks nothing like that. No idea why people were saying that elsewhere, then. In my defense, I'm not...
People are already speculating that it's a BR182 / Taurus, which would fit with the whole Rostock thing in the files. See the baseless speculation...
Oh! We're getting these on these forums now too, nice. Well, for starters, it is unsurprisingly a German driving cab of some kind. Relatively...
Taken a month or two ago when I used to have free time. The sun appears to be in the east, so it does appear to be morning. LIRR [ATTACH]
Heck. Yes. That being said, I'm not sure about it without BNSF... the previously polled Tehachapi Pas might be better if you just include UP...
They were made to the same quality as the other routes. As far as I know, the PS4 versions of routes aren't actually different.
Patience. They only announce these every few months, the end of last year was an exception because they wanted to get everything out ahead of the...
Yeah, but none of them are very recent. They were all released months ago.
Pretty sure that was on purpose, for effect. They're already rushed, that's the problem. They need to take a bit more time before releasing these.
I wish you guys luck on this project and I hope I will be able to help eventually, somehow... may I ask how you did the Google Earth stuff,...
Yeah, but that isn't Conrail. Usually in a merger like this, one of them would get the rights to it, yes, but Conrail wasn't completely dissolved-...
Licensing, actually. Since Conrail technically still exists, their trademarks are licensed separately from CSX or NS. They are apparently one of...
I'd love to see this one too, but it's a bit long. Maybe just parts of it.
Probably waiting for the editor, which *may* allow proper repaints, i.e. 2 different paint schemes. Might not, though. Time will tell.
We don't even have the editor yet. You might have to wait a while... in the meantime, you've said this quite a lot by now... I think we get the idea.
I said that they were starting with one branch already. That branch is the Port Washington branch, yes. I said they would EVENTUALLY model this...
Ahhh... unfortunately, you probably can't. We don't know for certain yet because the editor isn't actually out yet, but it may just not be...
Nobody said the extension would ever be released by DTG. They don't usually model entire routes because that's just a lot of work. Thankfully, we...
They are modeling services that staryt in Ronkonkoma in real life. The route is only modeled as far as Hicksville, and so you can only run them...
Then it may become a "classic," like its equivalent TS route, most likely. Hopefully they'll fix the bugs, but I wouldn't expect much past that.
Uh... it's part of the base game now. You can still buy it, but if you want it and you bought the game before July 24, you probably already bought...
That's still a lot compared to how many DLC's were released last year. I mean, just compare that to the number of DLC's released in the past two...
"We may at some point?" "Mentioned?" What are you talking about- the editor is well past that! We've seen a LIVESTREAM of the editor already! I...
