    Possible Services

    Express Services to Birmingham, Wolverhamton, Shrewsbury, (And further on to Birkenhead or Wales on the Cambrian Lines)
    Local services around Birmingham Wolverhampton and Shrewsbury
    Heavy and Light Freight Along the Route

    THE ROUTE

    About 84 miles (+14 miles Telford- Shrewsbury via Iron bridge) with major Stations at Banbury, Leamington spa, Warwick, Birmingham Moor Street, Birmingham Snow Hill, Wolverhamton (High and low level), Telford and Shrewsbury.

    In case you are not aware although not quite what you are hoping for but you might like the Wycombe & Joint Line free from SteamSoundsSupreme. Check that you have the required payware. They also have some good GWR 2-8-0s & 2-8-2s.

    Thank you for the suggestion, I am aware and have played on The Wycombe railway and joint line. And I will have a look at the
    GWR 2-8-0 and 2-8-2 tanks.

    Also the SSS Southampton-Weymouth route might be of interest. Western Region ran services from Weymouth to Portsmouth so a Castle on that line is not out of place.

    I like the idea of a proper GWR route as opposed to a BR(W) or preserved route. My preference would be for the Didcot, Newbury and Southampton to give some opportunity for period Southern running.
