Chapter 5 journey 1M15 it is impossible to obtain a gold medal as there are not enough stops to generate the 13,750pts required for gold. I did a perfect run (ie 1000pts for each stop), never going overspeed and managed to get a maximum of 11,293 pts which is only enough for a bronze medal. I have a gold medal in everything else in the BML journey except for this one, which is triggering my OCD
It is *technically* possible to get gold.. you would have to stop at the second to last signal on approach to victoria when it is on double yellow (so your train has been cleared into the victoria platform) you would then have to drive backward and forward between that signal and the previous in order to keep picking up the +30 points every 400 yards or so. you would have to do this constantly for about 2 hours. I wouldn't recommend it though!
Bit of a necropost, but I've just tried 1M15 again and this time got 12,522 points, which I'm pretty sure is higher than was ever possible before (it used to top out at 11k-something, just below the silver threshold). Seems like something has changed with the scoring to allow a higher result, BUT this time, having only dropped points for one minor overspeed, still only got silver, some way short of the 13,750 required for gold. This has been flagged numerous times in many threads - surely it's a 30 second fix to change the medal requirement for this route, ready for the next update. This is the only thing keeping my title screen on a green tick instead of a gold star!
omg i drove 1 hour for silver :'( 12134 pts - 13750 is impossible to reach even with all security systems plz fix !!
