The 42nd Street Shuttle is MTA's shortest subway line with just only 2 stations, running between Times Square-42nd Street in Manhattan, to Grand Central-42nd Street in Manhattan. Both of these stations opened on 10/27/1904 when NYC got their first subway. Rolling Stock: The Rolling Stock that the 42nd Street Shuttle uses are the R62A type cars built by Bombardier Transportation in 1984 to 1987. These R62A cars are similar to their older sisters the R62s built by Kawasaki Heavy Industries in 1983 to 1985. R62A
Seems very boring to drive these type of routes. I don't think DTG will make any sales of this short route... I would rather go for SIR: Staten Island Railway | Dovetail Games Forums
The problem with the Times Square Grand Central shuttle it's shut in late nights, therefore, I suggest it's 24/7 parallel route the 7 train from 34th st Hudson Yards to Flushing Main St. Rolling Stock there is R188 7811-7899 with R142A 7211-7590.
