I beg you!!! Give us the option of driving an acela, we absolutely need to have an American route (we don't have one at the moment) where we have the option of doing fast or local service with amtrak. ALL AGREE???
I wouldn't be surprised if they make it, it's logical: There is a really high demand for it Boston - Providence is one of the fastest sections, fitting the Acela well Tilting functiinality can be developed for both the Acela and ICE-T (for Riesa - Dresden) at the same time, sharing developement costs between the two.
This is absolutely needed because because on Boston to Providence some sections support 145-150 mph operations (230-240 km/h running). Also the tilting feature can be implemented for the Acela Express and then future tilting trains like the Swiss RAbe 503 501 502 & 500 Germany ICE-T DB BR612 & United Kingdom Class 390 222 & 221.
I agree and its maximum speed on the line is 150 mph (240 km/h 5 mph 10 km/h faster than the DB BR182 230 km/h (145 mph)) if conditions improved then you can go at the maximum speed of 160 mph (260 km/h) for the Avelia Liberty.
The Acela is a must. A necessity. When it releases everyone will flock to get it. There’s no reason why DTG shouldn’t make the Acela, because just that one dlc alone will make DTG’s bank account explode.
Would say its pretty much a given we get it eventually. Personally I want an AEM-7. Rock it old school.
