Haha A bit of a slip up there.....or its a stealth rail driver beta addition. I dont have a Rail driver ot plug in and click enable on though unfortuantely Nice to see they are at least letting you create custom configs per loco
It was extra work to conceal the work in progress so we left it in for now as the intention is to enable the functionality before the end of the year. If you don't look at it, it's like it isn't actually there as right now it does nothing.
Love your comment Sam! I had a good laugh about the way you deal with this. I might even think this was done on purpose to keep the forums alive and get some critical comments (there clearly has been a lack of bashing DTG lately at the forums, I have even seen compliments ).
Advanced Controls are now working. If you would like to see it RailDriver in action, I've done a very brief run on Isle of Wight you can see it on YouTube https://youtu.be/xOpF9d6PmPA my early thoughts are that apart from being a little bit twitchy its really good and will amp up the game play and immersion tremendously. I'm hoping to never use keyboard and mouse again. I found a couple of things I think you can't do but that might be because I've not properly explored the buttons. We need a way to print the button configuration or a PDF manual with the configuration if you're listing DoveTail. Now I need to find my templates I made for another simulator so I can type out the buttons to print and slide into the overlay on the machine.
Just did a run on Sand Patch Grade and have to say most all worked well. Only glitch I ran into was on the dynamics, it went straight to B8 after being in setup instead of going B1. Probably just a calibration problem — and of course getting use to the button mappings. One thing that wasn’t working on my first test was the zoom rocker and the “d-pad” direction keys. Did anyone else attempt to use these to control the outside views?
