Hello Dovetail Games Team, First of all, thank you for creating Train Sim World. I really enjoy using Scenario Planner, especially for creating realistic timetables. I would like to suggest a new feature for Scenario Planner: an Advanced Operations Mode. Currently, Scenario Planner automatically chooses routes and platforms for AI trains. This is simple and works well for beginners, but it makes it impossible to create realistic train operations such as overtaking, planned crossings, or platform-specific routing. My suggestion is to keep the current system as the Standard Mode and add an optional Advanced Operations Mode. Standard Mode Works exactly as it does now. The game automatically selects platforms and routes. Ideal for beginners. Advanced Operations Mode In this mode, the player can manually define: Arrival platform at each stopping station. Departure platform after stopping. Through (non-stop) track/platform at passing stations. Arrival and departure times for each station. Dwell time at stations. Optional routing through junctions where multiple paths exist. With these settings, players could create realistic railway operations such as: Local trains waiting on a loop line while express trains pass. Scheduled overtakes. Precise train crossings on single-track routes. Realistic platform assignments. To make this easier to use, the game could also include a conflict checker that warns the player if two trains are scheduled to use the same track or conflicting routes at the same time. This feature would not affect casual players because it would be completely optional. Beginners could continue using Standard Mode, while advanced users could enjoy creating much more realistic timetables and railway operations. I believe this feature would greatly improve Scenario Planner and make Train Sim World even more enjoyable for players who love timetable creation and realistic railway operations. Good suggestion and to be fair randomisation is something many of us have been asking for in normal timetable runs, to mix things up a bit. However DTG seem either unwilling or unable to oblige.
