Hear, hear. Whether it's here or Discord (could be either or both), some people need to grow the heck up and stop taking this game so flipping seriously.

That’s awful, I hope those cases are being reported to DTG so those people can be banned from the forums.

Anyone hurling abuse at someone over a video game DLC need to have a serious look in the mirror and get a life. Would you say such things to people in real life? No? Then don’t be a tough guy behind the keyboard.

FWIW, I’m loving the DLC and having no major issues and my PC. I look forward to what!s next from the team.

I’m fully against pm personal attacks.

but about taking this seriously makes sense because we are paying customers that should be get at least stranded Quality stuff that has been tested not used as beta testers and forced to wait for it to be fixed and sometimes not even getting a refund

Ha, ha. Unlikely as I had already spent an hour trying to finish a run on Bernina after purchasing and installing, first.

Need to spend more time with the route, so far some good, some bad will be posting in the Feedback thread. The tl:dr of it is, as suspected the route builder and 3D modelling can’t be faulted, it’s the bringing it altogether into a smooth driving experience that has let things down a bit.

I don't disagree with you, I'm referring to those who take things too far.

Calling for DTG to ban abusers won't work if it's not being done on this platform. This isn't the only way of communicating with developers.

Anybody doling out personal abuse about a train game needs to take a long hard look at themselves.

Sad to read that developers have received personal abuse. No matter how much you feel agrieved with TSW and those connected with it, abusing people is just childish and shows a lack of self awareness and self control. Just walk away, why let a game/simulator get into your heads so much? Even these open forums can get close to getting personal just because some can't control themselves.

It amazes me why so many come here and rage, surely life is too short unless you get a kick out of it. Some of them seem to still have the latest DLC despite apparently "hating" TSW. There are some who seem to just want to gloat when something goes wrong almost as if they are enjoying it.

Criticism should never be more than constructive in my view.

Whatever mess this route might have been/still be on some platforms it is clear a lot of attention and enthusiasm has gone into this route.

First of all, what a shame some of the personal abuse the team at AABS have received.

Even worse is the reaction of some of the members on here that are now falling over themselves to condemn this, and that’s only because they’ve been called out on it by Kerr. Not saying it applies to everyone and people will rush to say it’s just constructive criticism, but some of the comments I’ve seen really have cut close to the bone.

Anyway, I only purchased this route last night as I was away all week, otherwise it would have been a Day 1 purchase.

I can genuinely say no performance issues on my PC, with the exception of the known stuttering. Basford Hall / Crewe definitely the most intensive but I maintained a constant 60FPS (with the stuttering exception) on the service I ran (1F39).

The other service I’ve ran (1G18) from Wolves to Birmingham, my FPS dropped to around 45-55 at New Street but nothing majorly of concern.

The trackside clutter and attention to detail is outstanding, even placements like the bridge numbers, it’s something that you don’t notice isn’t there in other DLC’s but are now very noticeable because they are there - that makes sense right?!

I absolutely love the slab track on Platform 4C and puddles in the 4ft at Birmingham New Street, a lovely addition.

It’s such an iconic route and AABS have recreated so well, I hope some of the things are just a learning curve with it being their first DLC.

Signal delays, playing 1G18 from Wolves to Birmingham New Street, I was brought down to a red approaching Soho which after a while cleared to a green, that’s definitely a signal delay in my book! Brilliant.

Now the timetable, the timetable is jam packed driving between Wolverhampton and Birmingham New Street is an experience we’ve not really seen since London Commuter. Very, very impressive!

My negatives about the timetable are the arrival times, and the double load passengers instruction although regarding the second one I think I know what’s happened, it’s to prevent close doors on red, something I’ve seen a lot of in Riviera Line.

Playing 1F39 I had arrival times but 1G18 did not especially at New Street which was frustrating, but I know it’s being addressed. I did enjoy going Fast Line Stafford to Crewe, as I thought I’d be routed via Searchlight Lane Junction.

I did notice some of the 350/3 numbering is inaccurate too.

Overall, nothing like flying through the Midlands on the WCML or weaving between the iconic canals and viaducts on the route. An incredible attempt by AABS, nothing at all game breaking although I’ve only played two services. They’ve set the bar high with some very intensive areas, that DTG and other developers may have shyed away from. With some polish and further patches, this will hopefully be one of the best TSW DLC’s (although nothing will beat Riviera Line, sorry!)

It’s a 7.5/10 at the moment let’s see what the future patches bring.

Yes, I've also been seeing lots of signal delays on the Wolves to Brum direction runs (2A43, 2A49), but nothing on any other runs in B2C or Riviera. Looks like that direction works with this delay feature for some reason? Still waiting to hear from DTG how this is all implemented really.

Sorry to hear that Kezz someone has attacked someone of the Team. It’s now ruined it for everyone else as those who communicated with you and the team are basically getting punished for something 1 person did.
But we have to respect your wishes regardless.
