Amsterdam-den Haag Disscussion

so with the new dovetail live stream they have officially announced a second new dutch route being amsterdam to the hague/den haag and now i have a small question which line will it be to amsterdam?

option A: the line via leiden, haarlem to amsterdam
option B: the line via leiden, schiphol to amsterdam
option C: both lines listed above for maximum dutch traffic layers

feel free to talk about the new dutch route in this thread

 

I think we'll only get option A

 

Definitely A, they mentioned the tulips which grow around April and May between Heemstede and Voorhout. And intercities from Amsterdam Centraal only go via schiphol during construction nowadays

 

yea thinking too tho with option C then koploper would be able to drive its cool lenght run from den haag to schiphol

 

+ it would also allow for that short sprinter service from amsterdam to schiphol which ik DTG will prob never do when we get most of the dutch network ingame which is a shame

 

Yeah and the route has also a branch to Zandvoort so I think they would've mentioned if they added the airport branch

 

well the amsterdam zuid - leiden line is a mainline and a very very very busy 1 too because
1. it goes to schiphol airport which is busy everyday with pax
2. its also the mainline to go to groningen,leeuwarden and lelystad from the hague

 

btw what will be the stock for this new route bc i have a big feeling its the VIRM + SLT

i lowk hope the virm gets some sort of layer for zwolle groningen too
