Which begs the usual question, what route to put it on if possible.

I'd love a "Pepsi Can" Amtrak Phase III Dash 8. Maybe we could get UP, CSX, and ATSF or BNSF versions, too later on.

Could they add the metroline cab car to the Amtrak Dash 8 locomotive since it’s already available in train sim world?

Can run also in our USA and Canadian dlc/routes as Amtrak/MetroNorth/Via Rail loco? I like a lot this "classic" locomotive!

Not necessarily. Amtrak's dash 8 are b units if im not mistaken. The b unit is that rare 4 axle wide cab instead of 6.

Somewhat incorrect, they're more backup/emergency power and more commonly used in switching/MOW service. They can lead if need be (ex: A few years ago a pair were assigned to the Pennsylvanian and always led) but are normally reduced to trailing (Guessing its about how they ride or maybe its cab signal related).

B units as in the b series dash 8. The b series was the 4 axle series. Still perfectly powered, just less axles

Less axles? I guess they don't cost as many money, then too! :P r/GrammarNazi
