Hello everyone I have a great suggestion for a great add-on for the new Florida route. I am happy that the state of Florida has made its debut on TSW. As I was thinking about it I feel like there is a great opportunity to add something amazing to the new USA route. I feel like something amazing for that route would be an Amtrak long distance pack that features its long distance rolling stock and locomotives. The Miami- Boca Raton route features Amtrak's new Floridian and the Silver Meteor. There was also the Silver Star but that train became the Floridian back in 2025 due to the East River Tunnel project in NYC and also to free up Superliner equipment for the long distance trains out west. When it come to the locomotives I would say that the ALC-42 and the P42DC would be great additions because for starters both engines are the face of Amtrak's long distance trains although the P42 has been on the long distance services longer than the ALC-42 units. Further information regarding the locomotives will be posted down below. The rolling stock for this feature should mainly include the Amfleet 2's and Viewliner equipment. Both the Silver Service and Floridian use amfleet and viewliner equipment. Here are photos for reference. The Amtrak ALC-42 Amtrak P42DC Viewliner I and II Sleeper cars. We could get a P32-8BWH too. I would love to get some Superliners to run on Cajon or other western routes too, as well as Sand Patch Grade. Amtrak Siemens Venture Coaches are needed in game, as they are coming soon. If we get new P42s, we should get multiple liveries, including the Operation Lifesaver, Ph. 7, and Heritage units. The Chargers would come in Day 1, Ph. 6, and Ph. 7 liveries. Also, the passenger cars could be done in Ph. 6 and Ph. 7 liveries too.
