In 2010, Amtrak ordered 130 Viewliner II cars from CAF USA to replace the aging Heritage cars, many of which were over 60 years old and becoming more difficult to maintain. At that time, the order was 55 baggage cars, 25 bag-dorm cars, 25 sleepers, and 25 diners. In August 2014, the order was changed to 70 baggage cars, 10 bag-dorm cars, 25 sleepers, and 25 diners. The Viewliner II's are painted in Phase IIIb, Phase III with the Phase V logo.

The first few baggage cars started service in 2015. The diners started service later on. The bag-dorms and sleepers still have yet to enter service.

With the Heritage cars now being out of service, I think DTG should create a route including the Viewliner II's or perhaps include them with another Amtrak locomotive pack. Or perhaps, another dev could create the Viewliner II's as a separate addon.

The link below includes the numbers and names of the Viewliner I's and II's.
