After opening the DX12 Experimental build for the first time the other day, I am no longer to open any of the three versions of Train Simulator Classic via Steam. I'm not sure how I'm meant to fix the issue or what it means, but I suspect that the experimental build was the cause. Attached image shows error I receive when trying to launch the game. Edit: It seems that the game was updated on my end only half an hour ago to version '24010', and it's only since then I've had this issue. Not before, so it could just be this update that ruined something.
My game just updated, and it deleted not just the executable, but just about every asset in the game. Tried to uninstall and reinstall, and it didn’t fix anything.
It is really everything gone, youve installed via Steam. little bit funny that i now have so much free space on my hdd, but really frustrating at the same time. Is this a new way leading us to Train Sim World?!?
I think they uploaded an update which is just an empty folder. Executable’s gone, all of my assets gone, and uninstalling/reinstalling shows that the installation is 0b in size.
