Okay, so I was doing a little bit of sandbox, spawning the 801 in the Glasgow - Edinburgh line, I was speeding through without a care in the world because it was sandbox, I was just having fun! there was a red signal ahead of me and I diddnt really care about SPADing but hit the emergency brake anyway. long story short I SPADed anyways, before I was removed to the homescreen I heard a odd noise and a small, unreadable message other than the one you get when you usually fail. It read:
"A TPWS SPAD has caused a penalty brake application. Acknowledge the alarm by pressing the SPAD button on the TPWS control panel."
Seems odd since you get moved back to the homescreen (on PS4 anyways) but thought I'd ask, has anyone else experienced it, and if so; Do you think there's a potential feature coming out?
Reminder, I play on Playstation 4, was driving the LNER Azuma 801/0 and on the Glasgow - Edinburgh Line.
It could be just because I was driving the 801 maybe?
PS: I clipped it on Playstation to get the image and can produce the video if asked

Interesting, I have never seen that myself. Maybe they are going to let you keep playing after SPADing in the future.

That SPAD alert is part of the TPWS system. IRL after you SPAD you would have to contact the signalling centre. You will get alerts TPWS if you overspeed, Miss an AWS or SPAD. It's also present on the Class 700.

There are scenarios where you are authorised to pass a signal at danger by the signaller. In those cases, that message will make sense.

Yeah, there's one on Cathcart and it tells you you have to do something with the tpws
