Release date for RH August 19th? TSW2 was released 20th August 2020. TSW released around the same time in 2019.
It’s just another guess, like the many guesses that you and others are posting on the forum. When the release date is announced you will notice it. There will be an article about it and an official thread about it here, a promotional video and a live stream, and about 9 or 10 other threads here posted by members of the community trying to be the first to post a thread about it. Fireworks will happen on the forum, all talk will be of the contents of the release article and the promotional video. It won’t be one person posting a date on a Sunday afternoon.
My goodness, I wish I hadn't started this thread. When I did, I seriously thought there would be a big announcement. Now it's just descended into worthless guesses and speculation by people who are too lazy to read the DTG statements earlier in the thread. I would like it to be locked.
Smart move, people seem to be ignoring the fact that Nat has already said it isn't exciting for existing players. I can't fault you for creating the thread though, after all it did eventually help clear things up for those that read the DTG statements .

Not at all. I don’t think I even inferred that in my post. The only thing I was getting at was that the post in question was one of the many guesses made and was easily identified as such, as none of the other stuff I mentioned was happening.
A few weeks back, they accidentally revealed a Pre-Announcement Image of the Socials. We think that before they settled on the Class 387, they were going for the Class 442 Gatwick Express, which Personally I would have prefered, as the 377 is easily reskinable into Gatwick ExPRESS livery. It would be nice as a loco addon. And also, Matt would not tell anyone about a Toilet Update Early. That does sound that something jeb would do though
lolololololol - I moderate on another platform and we just merge them all together and tack onto the official announcement when this happens - truly gives the posters the shits but it keeps the boards tidy

The confusion stems from the fact that we have two announcements this week (ahead of Thursday's stream) which will generate some questions. Thursday's stream will handle those questions.

As always followed by some degree of dissapointment by some players. To be fair, we can criticise DTG's communication policies all we like, but there isn't a perfect way to do it.

I was just about to say that. I thought this exciting announcement, which is now just an interesting announcement, was on tonight's stream? So if there's already been another announcement announcing the announcement, I must have missed it.

In the short video from two days ago, the nice voice said "Please hold your ticket", what is a fake, an announcment? Was that answered in the Stream yesterday?
An interesting footnote to this week: There were two announcements. 1. Season Ticket for Rush Hour. 2. Release on Epic Games platform. But the biggest fuss was because they didn't announce the cuts to the Dresden route. They hoped (?) people wouldn't notice and hid it in the revised FAQs. Then when it was found it became the biggest story of the week. Because it wasn't announced.
