I avoided anything AP for a long time due to not understanding the requirements, but then I really wanted the HST packs and so it started. In the beginning it meant a lot of using locoswap, but I made spreadsheets of what I was missing and gave everything a priority and then bought as much as I could afford in each sale. It soon gets to a point where you have most things and I do find that the AP scenarios are usually pretty good. I’d hate to add up what it’s cost over the years, but for sure it’s less than collecting Lego!
Yes, I will need to check it out as I have more time. Sadly I keep getting stuff thrown onto my schedule, so now I have to put that off myself. LOL, my first AP purchase was looking at UKTS scenarios and thinking, "Where can I get the most bang for my buck?" The old 142 was an easy buy because I found a pack for it, the 158 and 150 were highly needed...and it started for me.
